Hi Beanie and DFW
I'm really happy to be back at work and the team is great. It was too good an opportunity to go and see what we're installing up here being installed down south to say no. Boss put no pressure on me so I'm going of my own free will and it will be another milestone on the getting back to normal plan.
2 psychology appointments on Thursday and Friday, one general and one cancer specific. I'll be juggling and doing a conference call in the hospital car park but that's all good fun.
I know from the last time that the tiredness will get better but anything excessive will cripple me so intend to avoid that at all costs. I've been completely honest with company and they're happy for me to split trips over two days like this week.
All in all life's good. My mum used to say about kids that "it's better to be washing mucky knees than changing dirty sheets". Roughly translated: better a kid who's out getting mucky than bed-ridden. I'm all for being knackered getting better than being a full-time patient.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Down to earth with a bang
Horribly sick with a migraine as well overnight. Phoned in today and back to bed:(
On the plus side I'm feeling less 'icky and the trip down south was cancelled by them this morning. So back to work tomorrow, this is going to be a real slog but have to keep trying.
Listed 3 things on eBay this evening but 1's not showing up. No idea why. It's the one that's worth something so a bit of a bummer.
TV man came round and said fault was nothing like I'd explained to Samsung and said we'll probably have to pay for it. Took tv away and 2 hours later a lady called to say tv was fixed and they'd deliver it tomorrow. How much? Nothing, it's a adult Samsung will pay for. So lesson to us all, even if its out of warranty worth a call to the manufacturer.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Much better today thanks. Put in a ten hour shift plus commuting on top. I've Dr appointments on both Thursday, Friday and next Wednesday so trying to show willing cos they're let me work round them. They've been incredibly good so very grateful for that and want to do a good job.
Amazingly put the Smartphone upgrade I got for 50p a month onto fleabay. First time I've used it since we stopped the business a couple of years ago. Like to new app where you just snap the barcode, unfortunately only worked for the phone and nowt else. Put it on as an unreserved auction at 99p....lets see what it gets to.
Dinner's cooking, salmon and lots of fresh veggies. Then off to walk the mad husky. Kittens keep following us to the edge of the drive, sitting very close together as if daring the other one to make the first move at following. We back onto a park and then open fields so trying to get them to see if they jump the fence they can join us that way...be nice to take the three furries out for a stroll.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. glad to hear that you're feeling better0

Thanks Taxi.
All alone in the office today but phone and email were going crazy meaning I got none of the stuff I planned to do, done. So working from home, offline tomorrow morning then psychologist then office. Hopefully make some inroads to must-do things.
Experimented for dinner tonight. Chicken thighs cooked with chorizo, sweet potato, butternut squash, left over veggies in a tomato and lemon sauce. It was nice...very nice and what looked huge was hoovered up by SB. Cheaper than a takeaway which is the current benchmark as I've been too tired or sick to cook much this year.
Kittens have decided that exploring the park is fun. Little girl jumps over and meiows at anyone within earshot then hops back. Little boy jumps over, forgets where he lives and sits under a bush til he remembers. They're getting on well with the husky which is great...happy, furry families.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Well to do for today:
- [STRIKE]Walk dog morning[/STRIKE][STRIKE]
- Walk dog evening
- Psychologist
- Work
- Something with pork chops for dinner[/STRIKE]
- Try meditation CD...constant headaches and sickness
Tried getting up to get some graft done before psychologist but head started up and felt sick again. So took dog for a walk to get some fresh air instead.
