Hi Taxi. Was up at hospital having scans this afternoon and, it appears, my first hypo. That was horrible so I've got some lucozade to keep in the house. It did respond fast but scary sensation.

On the scan front it looks like the tumour has grown from 30 to 40mm, so it's being referred up to the oncologist.

Bit of a pants day all in :o

    Hello all.

Growth is a bit of a bummer. Hopefully it's something and nothing. Would hate to thing I'm enjoying chemo whilst it's doing precisely nothing. Also go CT appointment for brain scan today. Maybe that's why my body has gone into nap zone....I just drop off as a defense mechanism.

Insulation company and my agency coming tomorrow. Must try to stay semi-conscious.

Amy idea on foods out there. ended up with fish and chips which I didn't want or eat. I'm too tired to cook. Are there any of the ready meal brands / flavours out there that people would recommend. I'm running on empty again :o

KJ : My experience of M&S mini meals is that they are tasty, look like real food (i.e. diced potato and not slop) and are good for small appetites.

Have you thought about protein shake type stuff? Some liquid thing with the right nutrients that you just add milk or water to... like complan or stuff from health food shops for those who weight train...

sorry know nothing of ready meals but at a guess the finest ranges would have better quality ingredients
hope the brain scan goes ok
