    1 year award.

Not sure what was reasonable or expected. It seems to be based around the problems cooking because of the nausea.

    Good news on DLA
I was a lot better on chemo this time around but seem to have been more tired the last few weeks...think a lot of yours will be the extra meds you are taking on top x

That's a good point Taxi...I always forget this little pump shunting drugs in 24/7.

The one they're using I had before. It's the size of a grain of rice and I was to have half in the morning and half at bed. Total dose 1mg and warning that it would make me very dopey.

The dosage in the syringe is now 18.75mg per day...may explain my dopiness lol.

    When are you starting radio?

Glad to hear you are going to be getting some DLA. Good news on the electricity too (sorry, I'm just catching up) but yuck to the side effects.

I love your attitude that comfort is the most important thing. People might look, but if it doesn't occur to them why you don't have hair, then they're pretty silly really, and not worth bothering with. Anyway, bald is good enough for Jessie J. :)

    Hi KJ
So sorry to hear that the meds are making your feel so carp. And worse about the stoopid tenants. I thought you were going to get an agency run your rentals for you? Did nothing come of that?

    love and hugs

Well I've managed to do the paperwork for the two flats going to be managed next week. Really hoping that this is the last I hear about them for a good long while. The costs on getting all these checks in place, half of which help no-one and the agencies disagree over battery and mains powered detectors works about about £500 per flat.

And, not to be negative, but 3 guesses how much the little darlings will look after / appreciate them. They will be getting regular checks though, and that's a good thing.

Tomorrows big job will be to finish off the filing. I also have the joy of starting Round 3 Chemo steroids...hmmm yummy :rotfl:

  • Evening KJ I have been absent but have wondered how you were. You seem to be handling everything thrown at you so well, you are such a strong woman :) you'll get through this. So sorry to hear about the cat, my friend had to put her kitten down last year for the same reason, it had eaten some flowers out of her vase (lillies!!) and was really ill after. She even went as far as throwing a bunch of lillies in the bin when i was there the other week for her birthday, a huge bunch arrived from her sister and she threw them straight in the black bin outside so the three remaining cats wouldn't get ill!

I feel for you on the tenant front too. I've had nothing but problems with my house i rent. The latest tenant is paid the rent by the council and then she pays it to me. EVERY single month, without fail, it is late and i need to chase her up! I wish i could sell the place but it's worth so little i'd still be paying the banks for years to come for a house I no longer own!

Good luck with the next round of chemo i hope you don't feel as bad as last time. Big hugs to you & taxi and anyone else going through similar that may be reading xxx
