Ahh I see I am a bit previous with my comments about agents. Hope that you have picked a good one, they are worth their weight in gold, when you do.

    Hi Guys.

DFW321, that exactly the position I'm in and I always feeling like I'm begging for the money which is mine by rights. Have to be honest and say that's a lovely left over from the Labour Govt so the tenants could feel "Financially empowered" grrr.

Hi Chev and Buffy lovely to hear from you both. Fingers crossed this new agent will work out.

Well had chemo 3 yesterday, so half way there. I asked them to do a urine test as I'm so tired which they agreed to. Oopsie the steroids have made me diabetic. Your blood sugar (for those like me who don't know) should be between 4.5 and 6.5. Mine was at 29.7 last night - coma arrives at about 33!!!). So on insulin tablets for next month or so to try and control.

Annoyingly (trivial but annoying) the one drink I was actually enjoying the taste of was fresh OJ and diet Sprite. Had been having a couple a day for last fortnight...bin for OJ :o

Also Magnesium is rock bottom which makes you very tired, so on sachets which can make you diabetic lol. So simple this cancer nonsense.

On good side though, MOT for car was £136 including two new rear tyres. It's to go back in a fortnight for a service but chuffed we're all legal at not too much cost. They also picked up and dropped off at the house so that was a huge help.

And SB's old school phoned. I still pay into their monthly 100 club. We've won first prize for this month so £70 on its way...all in all very happy bunny.

Also had man from Changeworks charity round. Macmillians had suggested they visit due to my high fuel bills so they fitted some energy panels behind the radiators on the walls so head is reflected back into the room. And they looking to see if they can get me on an insulation scheme as I've nowhere near enough in the loft. Again all big helps and greatly appreciated.

Well good news (everything crossed) on the letting front. One flat will be tenanted on Monday, one on Wednesday and an offers just been received for the 3rd one...probably early April move in.

That'll make a huge difference to the monthly figures...they'll go from bright red to pink :j

I've a wee tidy up to do at the Wednesday one and some paperwork to clear up, but pretty good to go.

Two are still non-paying so that's next weeks job to crack on with them. The medications seem to be working - very slowly today - but on the up. Had the energy to go and do a huge Asda shop last night with SB but really struggling today. Blood sugar is still dropping which is great, but this will take a while to sort.

All in all things are looking good and SB will be around the next fortnight to help me get stuff in order. SO happy I can give him so wages as well so he fully appreciates how much he's helping.

Good thought on the on-line. I was happy about getting out and about though so bonus there.

Blood sugar just over 10 now, so coming down steadily. Need to ensure it doesn't drop too much now.

Freezing here today so heating etc back on to try and warm up. The reflector panel the chap put behind the living room radiator fell off yesterday...hmmm I'll try again with more tape.

    Have a good day all.

The blood sugar levels are up and down but hopefully just a little chemo extra and not here for the long haul.

So tired still though. Back up to bed in a few minutes.

    Thanks Buffy.

Long dozy, not deep, sleeps at the moment seem to be order of the day. I'm trying to lay off sleeping tablets wherever possible although doctors seem a whole lot less worried about getting hooked than me.

Blood sugar this morning 6.1 woo hoo. Now I'll need to keep an eye on it going too far down. Won't happen today as I've still to eat but must keep an eye out tomorrow.

Waiting on District Nurse then off out for a drive and some lunch. I'm up for getting out for a wee bit today.

Hope everyone else is well and having a lovely Sunday.
