    Hi there...ploddity plod.

Have to admit to spending day wrapped up on couch. SB has been a hero, lots of cups of tea and he's happily living on fried eggs on toast.

The Pegfilgrastin in hammering away at my joints and I'm back on the oramorph. Feeling bleugh and I forgot to pick up my injections of anti-emetics yesterday so only my own stupidity to blame. I keep waking up with my joints so heavy I can't lift them. I'll like a horror movie where you're mailed to the bed.

Bed very soon...just fighting it a bit in case I'm suddenly away at 3am.

Also want to go for a wee walk with Husky but feel wobbly which is scary. Someone needs to come and shoot me.

You're all lovely. SB is being a big help on dishes and cooking ect. Even the smell is killing me.

I can do my daily ablusions but need help getting to chemist, It's not too long if i keep grinding. Biggest difference is that I expect sod all help and support this time so anything which transpires is a gift from the gods.

Getting DLA to get me wee trips up and down would be great. I hate my lack of entitlement to help so I always feel like I'm mootching and pestering peeps.

Not exactly relevant to your situation, but Amanda Palmer (the singer) gave a TED talk recently about asking for help, and how people do want to help, but often need to be asked. It made me think, because so many of us struggle on, when a little bit of help would make a huge difference. Her point was that it's not about how we MAKE someone do something, it's about how we LET them.

I hope you are doing ok, you fantastic lady. x

    Hello.

Snaggles and Beanie many thanks. I think I've been more open to help and have asked people this time round a lot more. Peeps have been wonderfully kind and supportive in lots of ways and I shall be far more attuned to trying to help others when I'm stronger.

District Nurse is always a joy. We had a good chat around help and suicide and what disability does and means to people. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to touch on such emotive issues without it being seen as a "cry for help". I need to process these issues, and I know many would never want to, so it's invaluable to have someone to bounce the subject with.

That conversation has made me feel much more in control and that there are people available should we move from curative to palliative treatments.

I've made a huge turkey and broccoli pie for dinner with some potato wedges. Enough for the five thousand or at least SB, me and left-overs for tomorrow.

Went for a tiny walk earlier and really struggled. Just wanted to lie down in the dirt and sleet. Maybe made 400 metres tops, so will have to try and beat tomorrow.

Had a great chat with on of my ex-team today. It's lovely being told the world can't cope without you (even when we all know it's rubbish). Made my little ego soar no end.
