Long chemo day. 10 hours door to door but everything went well and Hickman Line even worked.
Lovely friend stayed with me for who session and even made me pumpkin scones which were delicious beyond belief.
We also create a humungous Do List to try and get info out of my brain and onto paper. I've some definates which need done over next few days and then I'll work out what needs does following weeks but in doable chunks.
Done daily meds list as well which fries my little chemo brain. Just simply following that will help no end.
Big thing tomorrow is head shaving at 9am...I'm just going to get up and go. Less I think about it, easier it'll be.
Off to bed now...bit tired tbh.

good news on your DN and DLA and SB.
hope you're having a nice sleep after your long day today and that the S/Es aren't too bad x0 -
Thanks Taxi.
Rough night for some odd reason. Up loads of times as I felt generally ugh...one on those "can't quite put your finger on it" things.
Been and had my head shaved, so baldy coot has returned.
Cleaners coming in a moment so going to get then to blitz living room so poor district nurses can actually sit down. This must think I'm so ignorant making then bend down on the floor.
Then next stinky task is dog that is still honking of fox poo. She's so proud of herself but it's lingering and then some. Going to see if pet place can take her next day or so and remove the eau du foxy!
Off to move bulk of stuff out of cleaners way now.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

hope you have a nice sparkly living room and that stinky dog is booked in for bath0

My living room is lovely and smells fresh IF you ignore large, stinky hound in the corner. No pet shampoo appointments til next Thursday so she's spent most of the day in the garden wafting in the fresh air.
I'll try shampoo her a bit tomorrow as SB will be around to help. We'll bribe her with Benelyn...no shampoo, no druggie fix. She's crafty enought to understand that.
MaCMillan Nurse came today and completed the entire DLA form me. Thank you for the offers of help but I found my hand was so shaky, I could barely manage my signature. So big job off the list.
So all today's appointments are done but I've not managed the filing etc. Got told off for being too hard on myself but I'm really keen to try and get on top of the paperwork. Got a really snotty letter of the Letting Agents I use. I think they've fired me because I talked to another company. I really dislike this lot (they bought over my original agents) and so quite happy to part company. Just need some cash coming in and fast.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

good that you'll be using a different agent

Hello KJ and Taxi,
I came across this thread earlier this evening as I saw that Beanielou had commented (Hi BL)
What can I say? You are both such an inspiration I really admire the way you are dealing with your situations.
Will certainly be following this with interest.
Sending you both love and hugs xxChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0
