OMG Piglet74 that's AMAZING well done !!! :T:T
Gives me hope as think I have about 3 stone to loose - will be more accurate tonight - I work permanent nights and am on tonight so will be able to weigh myself on ward scales - don't own any since last set died
I find I do better when I have company and so glad I thought to look for this thread as £ still too tight to be able to go to club ( tho hope to be able soon) and I often missed weeks as don't work set nights. Once out of habit of going I cheated even tho knew was only cheating myself - so with encouragement from here will hopefully keep motivatedDate restarted DFW 30/04/16

grand total 75lbs off:j:j:j:j
12lbs to go to target:eek:
Wow!! Piglet,
Very, very well done!
I am feeling really low and at a loss, for the last 4 weeks I lost 1.5 then for 2 weeks stayed the same, then last week GAINED 1.5????
Really dont know whats going on. I have not cheated in any way shape or form.
Please can you or anyone shed some light on this for me as I am ready to throw in the towel.
I made some homemade chicken and veg soup, day later wii says +2lb, then next day -2lb then after having a really really good day the morning after it says +3lb.
So by the time weigh in comes around its a gain or stay the same.n:mad::mad:
I wonder if anyone else has the same problem.
So now Im scared to eat just in case its a gain.
What am I doing wrong?
Sorry for the long post but really need some help.xx
Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!
46 weeks! :beer:0 -

well i really think that once a week is enough to weigh in, i really dont see the merit in weighing in every single day, it would put me nuts,
i know everyone is different, and some people seem to need to WI on a daily basis, but its such a hinderence i think
can u do the Wii without getting weighed do u know?0 -
Go Piglet!!! Fantastic news, you must be really plesaed with yourself. I have a major Gin fest coming up on Saturday so I'm reining in the syns before then
Gutted today though, I was away with work at lunchtime and popped into the supermarket for something to eat. Picked up a bag of Kallo mini rice cakes as the ingredients looked pretty good but I have got home and checked them on the syns calculator and they're 4.5 syns - grrrrr, that's 2 less Gin & Slims I can have on SaturdayMortgage Aug 22 £280,000

gettingthere54 - the usual advice is:
- def not over on syns?
- measured every single HE you ate?
- star week?
- have you eaten enough?
- have you drank enough?
- suddenly started lots of body magic you aren't used to?
- wearing exactly same clothes every time you weigh and weighing under exactly same circumstances (day/time/same amount of food and food and drink beforehand as last time)
do you do a food diary? if not try doing one. its amazing the little things that we do that creep in that we think are ok but are actually cheats. the online one is best, it really won't let you cheat at all.
if you have a rough food diary from the past few weeks we could look at it for you and see if we spot anything.0 -

getting there i plateau'd with SW some time back - add in some wierd dietary problems and the scales were not budging or going up.....
i swapped to calorie counting and have lost 8lb in the last few weeks.
the reality was i was eating too much - carbs especially pasta.
if you eat more calories than you burn - you will sts or gain......and i'm finding that for some SW just does not work.
perhaps cut back your portion sizes, reduce fruit, switch from EE to red/green days.
good luck - just wanted you to know even if you aren't cheating sometimes the SW way just doesn't workProud mum :T

Thanks for the advice,
First of all, since I started on my weight loss journey, I have never cheated, and I mean that with hand on heart. so much so, that even at christmas dinner I did without the trimmings, no sausage and bacon, stuffing, gravy, pudding etc, and only lost one pound.
I managed to lose my 5 stone with just a couple of stay the sames and one half pound gain ( apparently with eating too much fruit ) and then this 1.5 gain last week.
This is when I stopped losing.:mad:
I have been totally obsessed with the wii, sometimes doing an hours exercise daily, thinking I was doing the right thing,
But having said that, I am doing no more or less on the wii than when I started last year.
I defo do not go over on syns.
I wear exactly the same clothes every week, people might think I dont own any other clothes :rotfl:
I try to drink flavoured fizzy water every day, but sometimes not much.
Dont drink tea or coffee.
I am at my wits end now trying to think what I have done wrong all of a sudden.
This last week I have tried to cut down on my food intake altogether, maybe just having 2 poached eggs for breakfast with 2 ww toast, fruit for lunch and 1 jacket spud, broccoli and a piece of fish or a couple of slices of beef, then just my syns at night consisting of a curly wurly and a pkt of french fries.
What is wrong with that? Maybe you can see something that I am missing?
Thanks for taking the time to advise me x
