    18% for me :D

    Was 22.5% :o

BMI has gone from 34.71 (obese ) to 28.4 (merely overweight :rotfl:).

    Was 26.95 :o.

Still, going down again, but I won't be losing the 22lbs needed to get to 'normal' - imho that would be far too thin for me :).

i am the same, i am not going to set a target in the "normal" range,

my target weight (11.12) leaves me with a BMI of 26.8

    it is currently 29.2 (12.13) so 15lbs to go:D

i havent set my target at all yet, im 5'9, but my consultant was suggesting 9st 9lb for my final weight (personally i dont have a weight in mind, more a size).. but i think i might look a little emmaciated :S

so far since starting SW, i've lost 1st 2lb.. weigh in is tonight so hopefully it goes well :)

week 1 and 2 combined (i missed the 1st and 3rd weighin due to work) i lost 10lbs

week 3+4 combined i lost 6lbs... so hopefully i'll have another loss tonight
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

True - I joined thinking of trying to lose 6 stones - that would be 11 stone 9.5lbs and have thought about going for 10 stone 7.5lbs...

But I have SO far to go I don't know if it's possible. My sister is doing S/W too and has changed her target to 10 stone 7 from 10 stone because she was beginning to look haggard! In truth it is so very long since I was under 12 stone....

    my BMI - at beginning - 42.5

    Now - 29.8

at what might be my target - 25.3 - ie still technically overweight...

Am going back to SW next week after a break of about 18 months.

I was away on hol last week and felt ill for 2 days and didn't eat anything and only drank water. When I felt better I ate sensibly (still think and choose SW;))I don't drink alcohol and I didn't even have an ice cream. Came home expecting a loss, as we'd walked miles too every day) and the scales were exactly the same as when I left.:(

I used to look around and see people scoffing icecreams, drinking alcohol all day long and raiding the dessert section and think .... "this is SO unfair". If I ate like that I'd be the size of a bus.

Fluff, I don't know how much you had to lose but I'm 5ft 9ins and I lost 3.5 stone to get to my target of 10st 7lbs. I've gone below target a few times and I know I look too thin. If I were you I'd have an interim target (e.g.10.5 stone) and see how you feel/look then, you can always have a new target if you want to lose more. I also think you can have no target at all and just decide to stop at a weight you feel good at if you want to.
