got to face a celebration lunch at a local pub with my family today in honour of my 50th....
here's hoping the sweet chilli chicken salad is still on the menu!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
WI day again. Only lost about .4 of a lb. My clothes do fit better so I know something is changing. I do know what the problem is. I don't eat enough because my job is so busy at the moment. All I was able to eat yesterday was fruit and a Muller Light until I got home about 5.
Other than that I've been 100% on plan.
Anyone have any ideas of things I can easily eat at my desk I can bring? I was having Mugshots and Low Fat Supernoodles, but that's not that much either.Started comping 24/08/2012.

lfcgurly --- when I was working and like you, time ran away, I used to take a lunch box with lumps of chicken, ham, celery, baby/plum tomatoes anything I could just reach into and lift on the go.
Happy Birthday cyclingyorkie. Enjoy your lunch.:beer:0 -

I sometimes take home made chilli or curry in my food flask. Saves fighting over the office microwave (although sometimes I do serve it with a bag of steamfresh veg) and all I have to do is open flask and serve :T0 -

I do take a bag with 5 or so pieces of fruit and a yogurt, I do Green days as I'm not a huge meat eater.
I'm just starting to experiment with my new slow cooker, so maybe it'll be easier for me to take things like Chilli. Maybe I'll look into one of those food flasks, if I don't have to get up to throw something in the microwave, it'll be easier to get to actually eat it.
I guess the main thing is I'm going to have to be more organized to put something together the night before.
But being lazy is so much more enjoyable! :rotfl:Started comping 24/08/2012.

Soup - that's always my saver when I know I'm going to be out all day, running around and not get back to the office or anywhere that I can sit down and eat a proper meal. I make huge pots of soup with tons of veg in them and then freeze them in portion sized bags. I know that my flask holds 3 portions so I take out 3 the night before and just heat them up in the morning while I'm doing other things and fill the flask just before I leave.
You say that you take a bag with fruit but you can just as easily take a bag of washed and cut veggies too or a salad. I know that in the UK salad is seen more as a few lettuce leaves and a slice or two of cucumber and tomato but in the Mediterranean we make a whole meal of a salad - it's huge and has everything in it!Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -

Well I had hoped to have another dry week and have done fine so far but the wee fella is going through the terrible twos, DD has teenage angst (yes I know I was daft having an 11 year age gap between them), DH has b*ggered off to the pub and I could literally murder a glass of wine!
I have had very few syns this week so far, less than 5 per day so I know that if I wanted wine I could have it but I'd really like to see a nice loss on the scales again on Monday morning.Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000
Current mortgage £28,0000 -

Really, really well done Evilsquid :T:T, I remember reading not so long ago that you LOVE the nachos and cheese. I hope you feel dead proud of yourself. Do you now think that as you have refused them this time that you could do without them from now on, if so, then thats a huge NSV!!SW Journey Re Re-started 25/02/14

thank you
i just told myself i could have them and yes they'd taste nice but they make me feel awful afterwards and just aren't real food in any way shape or form OR i could say no, feel much better and be a step closer to target. it may only be a tiny step, but its a step closer nonetheless!0
