Second weigh in and 1.5 off bringing a grand total of 5lbs off :T It seemed like a long week but am trying to get into the mindset that this is for life not just for Christmas lol, and just get on with it.
Was very happy after weigh in thought would just crack on with the housework, checked the diary and noooo filling at the dentist:( So had one of my lovely homemade hot cross buns with butter on. I synned it at 20:eek: Still was delicious, made them on Sunday and have been waiting to try one, I do love my baking and have the advantage of 5 hungry mouths to feed plus DH who eats the most. Anyways had a sneaky ready meal for tea Mr M's eat smart Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni with broccoli, allowed 5.5 syns for that. Followed up by 3 lagers and packet of french fries:o Well my fave footie team were playing and it got a bit exciting at the end. Still all logged in my little pink book I am obsessively filling out. Seems to be working for me. This SW is so much easier than faffing about counting calories or points.
So off to shopping centre today for the afternoon buying DD birthday pressies, she having a party at Pizza Hut any menu suggestions for moi? Will have to save whats left of my syns for that. No doubt I will be heading for a coffee shop today will take a hi fi bar with me.
Enough of my ramblings the shower has become vacant I must jump in it then off to walk Mutley (my darling yellow lab), and get some body magic. Good luck with the weigh ins and have a great week everyone.:TTotal weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0 -
Since the 9th of January 2011. There have been some ups on the way as I have been on holiday a couple or more times. Then there was Christmas:eek:
Still I am on the way down again so never say never
I have met my first target and am now 5lbs under it. I have 11lbs to my next target and when I reach that I will be my lowest adult weight for many a year!
wow :A
well done you!
im 2.5lbs off my first target (12.12) but i re-set it thinking i was well capable of getting to 11.12, and thats going to be my final target for a while, it will be 12 years since i was that weight :eek:0 -
kandfs_mam wrote: »OMG happybunny, I really hope that I have worked the syns calculator wrong but I am getting the Moroccan Chicken Soup coming out at 19 syns for the 600g pot, and the yucatan at 20 syns for the 600g pot
According to the syns calculator you can't use any part of readymade soup as free food.... the moroccan chicken soup is 1% olive oil and the yucatan soup has soured cream in it.
ETA - unfortunately I have checked the online database for syns value and they come out the same as putting the nutritional value in... sorry.
OMG! I shall not expect a loss this week! Really need to find some low syn lunches that are quick and filling! I'm allergic to wheat so its proving to be an issue!Pay off Debts by Christmas 2015 = DEBT FREE!0 -

I must admit I tried to put that soup through the calculator for you and when I saw the results I thought I was doing it wrong!
Would you have time to batch cook your own soup at weekends to take for lunches? It seems the Waitrose soup basic ingredients were mostly free but the way they were cooked bumped up the syns. Plenty of recipes for lovely soups on here (link in Post 1).0 -
Happybunny I make soup in a massive stock pot and freeze it in batches. Makes enough for 1.5 or 2 weeks lunches. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

hi all
haven't posted for ages as had 2 weeks off SW, but i have been reading everyday.....
well done on all the losses :T
i have lost 6lbs since i last postedbut i have fallen off the sw wagon big time....
it was becoming too hard to follow given my dietary requirements - and so i have started calorie counting, now i eat whatever my health allows, just in smaller quantities than before. thankfully i still fit in crisps everydayi am hungry though sometimes and am starting to feel like a sugar-free jelly!
i still go to sw class for WI, and as i joined the social team i wanted to carry on going. I enjoy the class and the girls are great at giving me meal ideas of things i can eat
so thats me - just wanted to say hi - i have felt a bit voyeristic reading but not posting

Hi All
Another busy week socially for me so not got on, well done all losers :Tgunsandbanjos wrote: »Piglet... It's half a pound, you probably could poo half a pound. Don't let it get you down, you've done so well.
Which is exactly what I done this morning, that made me :rotfl::rotfl:. Scales showed 0.5lb gain so I waited until yesterdays dyno rod soup had done its thing this morning and then went back on the scales and STS . I Was disappointed though as I did stick to plan this week, after not sticking to plan for 3 out of the 7 days and losing 2.5 lbs, totally confusing so Piglet, you are not the only one, this week only thing I have not done is drink Green Tea cos I keep forgetting to buy them and no yellow plums as there seems to be a shortage in our supermarket????? but I do believe it also has to do with our cycleyou have done fab up to now.
I have not managed to get online, ws DS's birthday yesterday so he was a big 5, thats the last of birthdays/engagements for a wee while now so hopefully back on track 100%.
So my meal plan today
B - Melon with Berries & FF Nat yoghurt
L - Red Salmon with tbsp ketchup (1syn), green salad, WM bap (HEB), apple, orange, kiwi
D - Quorn Chilli with rice
S - Muller & banana
375ml skimmed milk (HEA) - used for coffee, rest will be drank with dinner
Has anyone ever tried the chilli made with quorn??? I am not looking forward to it as I have around 8 portions in the freezer and I will not waste it even if I don't like it, also made some with extra lean mince but going to try the quorn one first :TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Macpep quorn is ok for chilli, tried making a cottage pie with it and hated it though. It needs loads of flavour added. Would rather have mince. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Hope, if you're having a celebration, Big O was a success! At least it's over. Enjoy your meal.
I was worrying about dizzy too. I thought she was sorted with her dongle so must be a reason.
WI for me tomorrow, hoping to be a bit closer to target.0
