    Well done Med Mum!

Just wanted to share this article with you all. It's very good indeed - been around a long time but it's very sound stuff. About the way governments muddle the healthy eating message, and that really the key is to eat stuff your great great grandmother would recognise as food, and not too much of it. Pretty much a core message of Slimming World in another guise (apart from the Mugshots!). If you haevnt' got time to read it all, read the bulleted conclusions at the end.

Aw Piglet - don't get despondent doll, you have done fabulously well in a short period of time. You are 5stone lighter than you were in the summer of last year!! Put 5 stone into a rucksack and carry it about for 10 mins - it'll soon make you realise how well you've done. xx

Good luck to everyone else weighing in today. x

PS Fab news on the blood results MM.

a version of the book this comes from is free this month with Bodyfit magazine, i read it yesterday. its all common sense stuff. i like the rule "don't eat food that comes out of a window" :rotfl: i gave to to my dad and he spent an hour going round the kitchen looking at all the food labels, he was shocked how bad some of the stuff was.

Congrats to all you losers and hugs to thse who need them.
Well ---3 and 1/2 gone today and sotw so 8 and 1/2 in three weeks.

Last week after being sooooo good I stayed the same and my consultant asked about water. I drink pints of the stuff and she told me not to drink too much night before weigh in so I didn't. Not sure if this will help but Piglet maybe dont drink too much night before weigh in. And if you weigh in evening try to avoid water after 1 o'clock or very little.

I believe meds are really holding me back too. Appointment with cardiologist next week so will talk to him about it.

Piglet-- I only drank 1 pint last night instead of my usual 4 or 5!! But I weigh in at 10.30. (couldn't wait to get to the tap!!!)
If weighing late (at 5) I dont drink from morning.
I drink 2 pints warm water first thing but dont on weigh in days.

I wouldn't cut back from Sunday - drinking that much is good for you!

I weigh in at 7pm and have only had 1 drink this pm ( mind you is was a pint of tea!) - mind you lunch was at 3pm cos I had to take DD1 to the orthodontist today!

Don't spend time worrying about next week just concentrate on doing your best each day ( sounds great coming from the woman with veg coming out of her ears - and a few other places! who is really freaking about tonight's weigh in!)
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
