morning guys, i am hoping someone on here can help.
My neighbour has been asking me for months to join a class with her, she is new to the area and has not made any friends as yet, at the weekend we had a bbq and invited her and her family round, she mentioned again that she would like to go to a class to do something about her weight, but mentioned that she is over 20 stones and she dont think the scales will go that high.
I have never been to a class myself but prepared to go along with her for a bit of morale support.
Does anyone on here know how high the weigh in scales go, and do all classes use the same scales?
    TIA

I'm not sure how high the scales go but she'll be fine at that weight. All the scales will be the same as they're supplied by SW.

I know my consultant started at 24 stone with SW and then lost 12 stone! So the scales should be fine for your neighbour Classy Chick.

    Today's food will be...
    Breakfast - banana
Lunch - grapes, Mullerlight, small wholemeal roll (B choice) with cheese (A choice)
Dinner - quorn chicken burgers (2.5 syns each = 5 syns), SW wedges, beans
    Evening - strawberries

So I have an A and B choice and about 5 syns to play with... will try to be good though as I have visitors from Thurs - Sunday morning and may need syns in the bank!

Need to write a meal plan and shopping list so I'm prepared and don't give in to temptation!

I go to the same group as Zelda Haxby - this years Slimming World Biggest Loser ( big feature in the new S/W magazine) and Zelda has LOST 20.5 stone - so I don't think your neighbour need worry!

I'd lost 2lbs at weigh in last night - so I'm 1.5lbs off 4.5 stone! Dead chuffed!

S/W chilli is already in the slow cooker - I've made loads so I'll be freezing some.....

    Hello
    Well done Yorkie, that's brilliant.
I'm off work today, had to go and get DS's new school uniform. My wallet has now gone into a state of shock, I spent an absolute fortune. It makes me so mad that there's only one shop that you can get the stuff from and it all has to be branded etc.
Anyhoo, I'm having a green day....
Puffed wheat and a banana (a and b)
pasta with quorn mince and some carrot salad
Meal plan says curry for tonight
And I'll have some tea shortly to use the other a, and no doubt will find a way to use the other b and some syns too.

Have a lovely day... the weekend is in sight!!

Good day for losers today:T You're so right susie, that a loss gives a huge lift! It really is worth persevering.

Slight change of plan here. DD1 has invited herself and DGD round to eat with us. I think its because they ran their foodcupboards down for moving on Monday and haven't had time for a big shop. So fish planned can stay in fridge until tomorrow. I've got HM SW bolognese out of freezer and will make lasagne and salad. I'll end up with syns from cheese sauce but otherwise fine.

    My EE day:
B: baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, plum, satsuma
L: marmite & tomato sandwich, mpre plums
D: lasagne and salad with loads of beetroot

Planning to go to first WI tomorrow since reaching target. Anything below a 3lb gain welcome!;)

  • Hi - I've been doing SW for a few weeks - mainly green as my OH is a vegetarian but my weight loss has slowed right down and my consultant says to change my b choices/or plans round to see if it helps.

So I've decided to do some extra easy days but due to committments (and meal planning) we always have Jacket Potatoes on a Wednesday evening. I usually have cottage cheese, or baked beans with a salad. Would these fillings be ok on extra easy, or can you recommend a meat/fish filling, Ive done tuna/sweetcorn so fancy something different.

Something quick and easy (for 1) would be really helpful.

    Many thanks in advance.
