Evening all, hugs Blackers, run free little one.

Welcome newbies and hugs for those in need.

Am feeling very down at the moment [lots of emotional issues] and it isn't helping that I have had another gain [only .5lb] I think thats 3 weeks running now. Not sure if its due to doing EE or not having 'been' for a few days or a combination of that and eating to many chinese meals :o that and not eating enough calorie wise most days. It all adds up doesn't it . I'm still under target so its not really an issue just not helping the way I'm feeling.
Also missing my boy more than I thought I would [hes boarding at college til friday for pre season training]. So its just me and hubby [and dog] and PMT as * week looming :(.
Sorry for all the doom & gloom.

Food has been ok and have been humping and dumping [as MrsM would say] as decorating sons bedroom while hes away.

    B - weetabix hot water/milk [.5a] coffee
    L - fruit salad, activia
    Snack - mugshot, p/white [2.5]
T - turkey chow mein [2.5], stirfry veg, extra onion, noodles, chopped new pots
    Snack - s/cow [4.5]
    Syns - 9.5

Also back to work next week and feeling anxious about that [new head & ofsted ]. Its all getting a bit much :(.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • Shala moo - I usually only have one Banana a day on weekdays; good for my energy levels :)

Maybe I should cut down a little and have one every other day..... any other tips anyone has on EE would be much appreciated. A lady I work with has lost 1 1/2 stones in 6 weeks at SW so I'm hoping for a good loss next week!

I'm out all day in London on Thursday with work; 2 long train journeys and lunch/dinner out; will have to be mega disciplined if I want a loss next week ;)

Thanks consultant.. hope they taste ok

Well done on the losses h007 and bobbins (and anyone i missed):T

Bobbins? do you have two banana's most days? if so this may cause your weight loss to slow a little, something to do with the sugars in the banana's or something...

OH has put on 3lbs this week so he's going back to basics and writing in his food diary for the week. I think i'm going to join him as i can see myself straying a bit again this week - i can't stop eating - i blame the PMT devil!:rotfl:
    !
I might keep a diary, I think I "forget" some of my syns. Good idea there.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • Hugs for you, TIE. Chin up.

    Well it's my first week doing SW and I've lost 1 pound I had hoped for more as I've kept to my plan and well within my syns limit! Ho hum there is always next week and maybe I'll do better;

    Plan for me today

    B: Weetabix & Milk (HEB/A)
    S: Banana
L: Smoked Salmon & very low fat soft cheese on 2x thin slices of wholemeal bread (5 syns) with a side salad and fat free yoghurt
S: Cherries, Banana and Alpen Light Bar (3 syns)
D: Beef Strogonoff with Brocolli (not sure of syns)

Plus I have to confess as I was feeling a bit crappy about being good all week and only losing a pound I had a standard Dairy Milk bar :(

Nevermind, onwards and upwards and we'll see where extra easy takes me next week :)

I'm not sure whether today's food was meant to be green or extra easy Bobbins but I can see a few potential problems (as well as the bananas). If it's EE then you'll have had your HEA and B for your breakfast. So you need to syn the cheese (1.5 to 3 syns per 25g depending on how much fat), the bread (3 syns per slice?), the Alpen Light (3) and anything synful that was in your stroganoff. I'm no expert on green but you'd still seem to be very tight on syns depending on how much meat/fish you had with all the HEs. Do keep posting as it WILL work if you stick to the plan.

:Ton your 1lb off, it all counts!

And :Tto veryone else with losses this week.

  • morning guys, i am hoping someone on here can help.
My neighbour has been asking me for months to join a class with her, she is new to the area and has not made any friends as yet, at the weekend we had a bbq and invited her and her family round, she mentioned again that she would like to go to a class to do something about her weight, but mentioned that she is over 20 stones and she dont think the scales will go that high.
I have never been to a class myself but prepared to go along with her for a bit of morale support.
Does anyone on here know how high the weigh in scales go, and do all classes use the same scales?
    TIA
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Hi there, i'm going to start doing sw again at home and just wanted to know if any of you use the Easiyo yogurt http://www.easiyo.com/index.html andif that fits in with sw in any way?? Many thanks

I use Easiyo all the time, I use the low fat greek mainly. Someone on another board ( www.slimmingworldclubniceboard.net ) said that most of the slimmers yoghurts are either free or 0.5 syns a serving so I just go with 0.5 whenever I have it. Not sure about the full fat ones though and I dread to think how many the raspberries and cream flavour is!:drool::drool:
