  • Put on 1.5lbs at weigh in last night - grrr! But in my defence we have had sick kids for 2 weeks so my exercise has been severely limited and I haven't been at work so just pottering at home! Enough to send me loopy really!

Last night was frustrating - a lot of people turned up and they had problems with the laptop - our meeting is 7-8pm but she hadn't finished the weigh-in by 8! I was frustrated that she then waffled a lot instead of just doing the important points and letting us go!

I was also frustrated by the fact that no-one told us what the problem was....... seems like an obvious thing to do to me!

I am now hoping that as the kids seem a bit better that we can get back to a more normal life! I managed to get out for my morning walk today for the first time in nearly a week and I feel so much better for it! And it's nearly light when I'm walking - my days of walking in the dark are numbered - well until next winter!

If you eat the Onken fat free yogurts then I am afraid that the recipe has been changed and you now need to syn them.

Strawberry fat free is 5.5 syns for 450g pot
Fat Free Mango & Apple, again 450g pot 8 syns
Fat Free Vanilla Biopot Yogurt, also 450g 5 syns

    sorry guys :(

    Morning All

Well a 0.5lb gain for me :(, only day I had off plan was Saturday/Sunday, even then I didn't think I had done that bad :(, I thought I would have maintained. However, start of a new week so head down and batter on! Good luck for all those WI’s today and well done to those who lost. :T

I made Dyno Rod Soup last night – I don’t eat tinned soup but my DH says it is like the Heinz vegetable soup – it was scrumdiddlyumptious! I also made SW pasta Bolognese bake which is supposed to serve 4 but one portion is massive!! I divided it into 8, it is free (as tomato puree is now free) and should be one HEA but as I got 8 portions, it will only be ½ HEA, so todays plan for me is EE:-

B – Berries & Grapes with FF Natural Yoghurt
L – Dyno Rod Soup, wholemeal pitta (HEB), melon, pineapple
D – SW Pasta Bolognese Bake (½ HEA) with broccoli & cauliflower
    S – Banana, Highlights Hot choc (2) 2 lotus biscuits (3)

Saving sysns for Sally Morgan on Thursday & DH's 40th Party on Saturday :D

Rest of HEA will be used for splash of milk for a couple of coffees.

    Have a good day everyone!

I staggered to my W-I last night, then straight back home, cos I had a migrane. Luckily it's only a 3-4 min walk from the house.

Last week I weighed in at a different group, in the morning instead of the evening, so it's thrown my figures out a bit. But in the last 2 weeks, since I was last at my own group, ive lost 4.5 pounds ...so that's not bad at all. :)

The annoying thing is I am just 1lb off my stone award, and I would love to have got that last night. :(

next monday night at class i am going to buy a 6 week countdown, and i hope to loose 11.5lbs in that 6 weeks,:o

in the last 6 weeks i have lost 9lbs, so hopefully i will do it, or come near enough.
  • Hi everyone, well I am going to be joining my group tomorrow night, I don't have a lot to lose, a stone or so really but being an old SW stalwart and trying but failing miserably to do it on my own these last couple of months since xmas I realise i just need the group to give me that kickstart. I'm training for a marathon in April at the moment and foolishly telling myself I can eat what I want which is working to maintain my weight but not helping me to lose!!!

So I'm hoping plenty of green days will give me the energy I need to get through my long runs but still help me drop a dress size

Well done Mrs Optimist!! That is a huge loss.

Hi, milliemonster, I lost lots with green days so they are my favourites.

I had a bad day yesterday as I baked biscuits for my club then ate about 6!!

So, today I have decided to give up biscuits, chocolate and sweets for Lent. Maybe I should add wine to the list too, just to be sure.

    Today
B; porridge (HEB), apple, milk in tea (HEA)
L; pea and ham soup, gerkins and beetroot- hoping they are free
D; tuna pasta bake made with lots of vegetables, tins of chopped tomatoes and pasta.
snacks, fruit, low cal hot chocolate, and a slice of Gouda from a sliced pack.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

  • Well my first weigh in on Tues am and am exactly the same weight as when I joined last year. On a positive note it's not more!So far sticking to plan by the letter, but this time I plan to save all my syns for evening treats and long may it last. Well have set myself a four stone target to start with 10 stone 8lbs, the last time I weighed that was 1993. Feel very positive this time. Have also given up wine for Lent so that should help greatly. This is a great thread am sure it will help to keep me on track.
Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.

I have pastry in my freezer which is leftover from xmas. being mse and all that, I'm reluctant to bin it but the temptation to make use of it (and in particular those jam tarts that they showed on superscripers the other night) well, I'm sorely tempted but it will do my sw efforts no good. so do I bin the pastry and remove all temptation ? or I do I leave it in my freezer for a rainy day or do I make use of it and suffer the consequences ??? what would you do ??
