and what you said about having too many ideas of your own - they would obviously rather have a brainwashed zombie!!
Sadly, I think SW likes brainwashed zombies! That's about my only moan about the plan that things aren't explained properly, they like to create a certain mystique. Or maybe some consultants just don't understand it themselves!
Does anyone else find that new line at the top of posts irritating? I feel I'm reading sigs until I remember about it.0 -
weigh in for me today - not optimistic as have spent another week with DD2 (and DD1 on 1 occasion) being horrendously sick. DD2 has now seen the GP and is having some tests but is a bit of a mystery apparently.
Given the disruption I haven't managed to do my normal walks, and I think I'm coming down with DS's cold - oh joy!
Oh and the PMT fairies seem to have arrived early...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Evilsquid - sorry about the consultants job
Thanks for the info on the pasta n sauce , eventually found out that the batchelor one is 1/2 a syn per pack made with water , i assume the sainsbugs one will be similair ......................although in the end to be safe I had rice
For those who love yorkshires have you tried the tiny ones, midweek minis (8g) =1syn
And i just wanted to say something positive about consultants mine is fab, really empathic.........no longer at target but she is still in a group and always at the end of the phone and e-mail and facebook. She also stepped in to help a member who had an unexpected death in the family ......................just wanted to say there are some good ones out there!!
not sure what eats to have today , WI tomorrow morning and I try to do a red day usually on tuesdays better check fridge contents*****

I have only lost 1/2 lb in last 2 weeks. Missed a week weigh in because of school holiday.
Was doing SW on my own but gone to class to get last bit off. When I started I was 9.5 lbs to target, lost 5lbs in 6 weeks, so have 4.5lbs to go.
Trying to have some green days this week in the hope that will speed things up a bit?
Lost 2 stone on green days 8 years ago.
I do not drink alot of water, should I? Also only have a few syns most days, is this a good idea? Use more on weekends.
Thanks0 -

how much are you drinking? coffee and tea still counts as "water", theres been studies done that show that they are diuretic to the same extent plain old water is. theres lots of it in food anyway so if you are having lots of fruit and veggies you will be getting lots of water from those too.
if having less syns during the week and more at weekend suits you then thats fine, just make sure you aren't feeling deprived during the week doing it. are you still getting near your full 105 a week?
look in your book and try and see what speed or super speed foods you can eat and build into your meals to speed things along too.0 -
evilsquid, I am sorry you have been turned down by SW. It does sound like age discrimination to me. I would definitely ask for feedback from them.
I should really have kept in touch on here over the weekend as it is so easy to slip back into guessing syns etc rather than doing things properly.
