    Hello All,

Hope you have had a lovely weekend. I was too busy to post yesterday as had to work but shall catch up with my food diary now.

    Yesterday - Green
B - 3 x BGTYS Bacon Medallions (6 syns), 2 poached eggs, 2 grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, 2 WM Bread from 400g loaf (HEB), blueberries
L - WM pasta, Mixed Veg and whizzed up cottage cheese
S - Peach, Hi Fi Bar (HEB)
D - Mixed Veg, Uncle Bens Express Mexican Rice (2.5 syns), fruit
    S - 2 Caramel Snack-a-Jacks (6 syns)
    HEA=Milk in Tea

    Today - Green
B - 2 x BGTYS Bacon Medallions (4 syns), 2 poached eggs, 2 grilled tomatoes, backed beans, 2 WM Bread from 400g loaf (HEB)
S - Hi Fi Deluxe (HEB), Peach
    S - Caramel Snack-a-Jack (3 syns)
D - Chopped Toms, Onion, Pepper, 4 Mini babybel light (part of HEA's), 2 x Tesco WM Pitta (16 syns!!!), SW Potato wedges

So over on syns today but I have been to the gym yesterday and today and burned 1100 calls each time, so I'm not too concerned. It will be a mainly EE week next week as the BF is back and I guess we will be out a fair bit. I have a lean turkey mince chilli with beans in the slow cooker as we speak so that will be my go-to lunch for the next few days.

Don't worry Mrs O - you said you were going to be going off plan quite a bit at the weekend and it could have been much much worse - you stayed in control in nandos. Do a couple of days of damage limitation with plenty of SF food and minimal syns and I'm sure you'll be fine. x

Hi, please could someone tell me how many syns Sundra Chickpea Dahl is? It used to be free but I've got a feeling it now has syns :(

    Thank you :)

Weighed myself today - only 0.5lbs off a horrible, horrible stone in weight that I never ever want to be. This stops now and my scales HAVE to go the other way! No more chocolate in the house, fruit, babybels, yoghurts in & mealplan sorted in my head.

    83.5lbs to go......

I have just put in the oven a bread and no butter pudding.
I gave the dish a spray with fry light to prevent sticking.
I cut up 4 slices of WW brown bread, spread them with some mashed (nearly ready for the bin) bananas, sprinkled over with 5 tablespoons of sweetner and cinameon and chucked in some milk.
Thats pud sorted for tomingt and tomorrow and only used HEa and HEb : )

That sounds yummy! I keep meaning to experiment making an egg custard (minus pastry) with sweetener. Anyone tried that?

Just thought I ought to say that technically there are syns in mashed banana. I don't really understand it myself but apparently sliced is fine but mashed produces syns???

    Morning all..

Weigh in this morning.... 2lbs gone :j:j:j

I've made a conscious effort this last few days to reduce portion sizes and make sure i'm eating because i'm hungry rather than because it's on my plate and needs finishing.

I had a bad day Thursday but still managed to pull a 2lb out the bag so i'm thinking it's worked well...

Very pleased with this which takes me under the 14stone mark and 9lbs loss since xmas.... only 12.5 lbs to go to the 12stone something mark
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

The reasoning is that its easier to eat fruit when its mashed or pureed - You could easily drink a smoothie with 2 bananas, an apple and strawberries but wouldn't probably eat all that fruit in the one sitting.

Personally I wouldn't syn it as long as I didn't then eat much else. But if you were having the mashed banana as free, then having other free stuff, you would probably end up overeating .

That must be why my weight loss has increased since I cut back on fruit. I was eating a lot in one sitting whilst watching TV. I was eating it because it was there though, not because I was hungry.

Thanks for clearing that up. It all helps.

    My EE plan today:
B: NAS squash, scrambled egg, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: smoked salmon & cucumber sandwich
    D: stir fry with noodles
Syns: xtra HEB, scrape of horseradish, small squeeze of sauce, 1? in ready-to-wok noodles

I'm a bit low on SFs today but huge stir fry must be about 70% veg so should be OK.
