WI last night and i maintained.

In the grand scheme of things i shouldn't be disappointed - but I am. I didn't make weigh-in last week cos I had a stomach bug so effectively I have maintained for 2 weeks.

I know I have been poorly and since i stopped being ill I have looked after DD2 who has had the same bug, only worse, but I still feel deflated!

I am only just feeling OK now - over a week since I was ill! I haven't walked or cycled in that time, just slept or vegged infront of the telly.

    I know i'm being ridiculous......

It doesn't help that we have another temporary consultant - the 3rd since our leader left last October. We have now met our new leader - she is now doing the weigh ins and will take over in a month - but we have felt a bit neglected in the last few months...

So onward and upward this week - I have my first ever mammogram to look forward to this afternoon..

Good luck with the mammogram and hey, you STS, never put on so you shouldn't be dissapointed. Chin up and be proud of what you have achieved so far :T

    well done losers :j
I fell off the tank :o, have not had a good week and its only Tuesday :p. Weekend was bad and today was worse, can't even blame it on Valentines as we don't believe in all that. Love my Hubs 365 days so there are no special days [if you see what I mean] feel the same about Mothers/Fathers day too. [Bah Humbug :rotfl:]
Ok so am fully expecting a gain this week and only myself to blame [or * fairies].
Oh do have a big bag of galaxy counters right beside me and have had about 45 today and DON'T feel the need for more so thats a GOOD thing isn't it? Only good thing I can think of thats happened last few days lol.

We all have good weeks and bad weeks, no point beating yourself up over it now is there, draw line under this week and start again :T

    Morning All

Well DH and I had a lovely meal last night and I drank a full bottle of fizzy plonk, and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the meal. So as a result of last night, my weigh in this morning, I lost 0.5lb, but hey its still a loss and I am happy with that, 8lbs altogether, am thinking of maybe mixing EE with R or G days this week to see how I go, need to consult book though as to what I can and can't eat, took me a while to get my head round EE so may take me longer to get my head round R & G days

    Todays plan on EE

B - 2 weetabix with skimmed milk, HEA + HEB
L - Tuna Salad, banana, apple
D - SW bolognese with WM pasta & veg followed by Melon
    S - Pear, FF yogurt
:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

    Thanking you in advance.

    Red wine 250ml 8.5 syns
    Rose wine 250ml 9 syns
    White wine 250ml 8 syns

would that leave them 32 / 36 syns per bottle then:eek:
  • Goodness- that many?

No wonder I am such a blubber! I could easily squiff a bottle of wine - and often do so. Starting back with SW (again) after being totally inspred by the latest magazine which had a load of tips in it that made sense to me.

My prob is drinking and eating in the evening - usually when I am bored. Need to lose 7 and a half stone so cutting out the wine and evening snacks for non alcoholic wine and free snacks will help a great deal. Thanks for replying.
  • I'm still waiting to hear back from SW. the longer this goes on the more convinced I'm getting that its a no. i couldn't sleep last night, got up at 3am and ate a piece of cheesecake. thinking of claiming it was all a dream :rotfl:

i was the same.....eating at night...bored...in front of tv...now..as soon as the dinner is over...i am out the door..and away for a walk...

i eat syn free all day...and keep my syns for nite time...and usually have WW Crisps, Freddos, Curly Wurly, tea and biscuits (usually WW Cookies, or foxes party rings) just wotever takes my fancy.:D

try not to think of it as "i have 7.5 stone to loose"...just break it up....7lbs at a time....when i started i had over 6 stone to loose....but i couldnt think that far ahead, it was too scary:eek:, i didnt even set a target until i had over 4 stone off:o

( some of the low alcohol wines have 4 / 5 syns per glass, so thats 16 / 20 per bottle.)
  • Mixing it up with some red and green days this week after doing EE for 5 weeks so far.

Today is red - please can I have thoughts on my meal plan and also if you have any tips on red at all as it doen't seem many people do it.

Breakfast - Bran flakes (HEB) muller yog and banana
Lunch - Tuna in brine, 2 tbsp extra light mayo (2 syn), radishes, beetroot, celery, onions, about 4 slices of ham - fat removed.
Dinner - Steak, jacket pot (2nd HEB) cheese (HEA) big pile of veg

    Fruit in between

Have had milk and sugar in coffee (1.5 syns)
    2 tbsp mayo (2syns)
Thinking about a 2 finger kitkat later on.

    Thanks in advance!!!

thats fine for a red day! the main diff is that there is no such thing as 1/3 SF so don't stress about getting it all in and piling plates with veg if you don't want it.

don't forget you still have one more HEA so you could count your milk as that and keep the syns. you also could have had the milk on your cereal instead of the yogurt. if you want to syn the milk, you could also double your cheese for your jacket if you wanted to have another HEA as cheese.

Not that I'm an expert on wine syns:o but there are 3 large glasses in a bottle. So 25.5, 27 or 24. Not so bad really:D
