If you need a sweet fix i can recommend 2 ryvita crunch with philly choc  - i have this as pudding.. 1 Heb with 2 syns worth of choc philly. Obviously only good if you can wak away after two

I've not heard of ryvita crunch, what are they? Just googled, do you mean the fruit crunch ones? I'm put off by the currants to be honest, are there many in there?

Day one of my organised life went well :rotfl: had my soup for lunch and have packed up tomorrows. Had a lovely chicken/asparagus/sweet potato thing for dinner, followed by a nectarine.

Just cracked open a mint muller light, and I approve! If I repeat my coconut pattern I'll eat them non stop for about a month and then never want to see them again :rotfl:

  • It's 5.5 totally worth it! I just bought a pack of orange ones:)

I like penguins for the same syns, I literally lick the chocolate off, then split it and lick the filling out :o:rotfl: can make one last at least 15 minutes!

Which foods do you really look forward to on your plan? The ones that help you stick to it, or you would eat even if you were not on SW?

I'm hoping we can all exchange a few ideas :D

    Mine are

Potato wedges -Free - cut up potatoes, sprayed with fry light, and sprinkled with Season all, or BBQ seasoning and put in the oven - I LOVE these.

Bubble & squeak - mash potatoes and cabbage and leek fried in fry light - a good way to eat loads of green veg, that still tastes good.

Asda Chicken breasts in Sun dried tomato butter- Free - and tastes amazing

Tesco Chicken breasts wrapped in cheese and bacon - 2 Syns each, but again really lovely.

SW choc mousse - made with 2 sachets of Highlights hot choc, making it 1 syn per portion (recipe makes 4 portions)

Spanish omelette - free - 2 Eggs, potato wedges, lean bacon, red/green peppers, celery, seasoning, serve with a green salad.

Scan Bran Ferrero Rocher - I made them using 5 scan bran, and 3 tablespoons of Nutella - I syn the nutella (12 for the whole batch) but used the scan bran as my HEB....I ate them over 2 days, as half a HEB and 6 syns a day.

Half Syn Cake - I dont love this, but it is sooooo useful. It is filling and tastes ok, and just 1/2 a syn for the whole cake. This got me through my night shifts without chocolate bars or buns.

Hartleys low cal jelly - 1/2 a syn a pot. Nice and sweet.

Yep the ones with currants and seeds in. I've never really noticed the currants so there can't be many in there. Its more like a chewy bit that you find rather than a currant.. got to be honest i love Ryvita in any shape or form!!

    Debs - good idea

SF Jelly - made with yogurt and water so they are like milk pudding - syn free (or qtr of a syn)

Actifry chips/wedges - we have these at least once a week on SW or not

Cheese and potato pie - with a HEa of cheese

mmmm and my fave - Pulled Pork which i found on the Slimming eats website, Heb for a wholemeal roll.. This was something we had in Memphis when we visited and to find a SW recipe that tastes nearly the same was just the best!!

back from WI, I've lost 2.5 pounds :) undone all the gain and then done some extra. most importantly I'm back under 12 stone so I'm :j

still not heard back re consultant.

debsjc whats the SW choc mousse? i've never heard of that before!

i love the scan bran ferrero rocher too :)

    my faves are:

SW Chips chop up potatoes, boil in salt water for 10 mins, spray a baking tray with fry light, drain potatoes and put on tray, spray with more fry light then cook at 200 for 20 mins.

Highlights hot choc 2 syns a sachet and i add a dash of HEA milk in it too.

camembert on toast Green HEB serving of camenbert on HEB wholemeal toast. one of the most decadent things i eat :)

Camembert pasta cook pasta. in little dish put Green HEB camembert, garlic, shallot with optional olive oil (HEB or syn). bake the cheese mix in high oven until melted. when pasta cooked, drain and put in shallow bowl then drizzle melted cheese mix all over top. this can be very rich if the cheese isn't spread around.

Goats cheese salad HEB serving of goats cheese with a ready made salad, usually one with rocket and spinach in as opposed to lettuce ones. drizzle low fat dressing on top.

Bacon, beans and cheese patented hangover cure cut bacon into strips, fry in fry light, open can of beans and add to bacon pan, mix then add a HEA serving of cheese (i use the laughing cow triangles, if you use the low fat ones then its lovely and cheesy and if i use the very low fat i use 2 or 3 and keep the rest for snacks later on). add pepper and serve it on a HEB slice of wholemeal.

Philly pasta cook pasta then add a HEA/B serving of philly. its a really quick simple cheesy pasta sauce.

Sweet potato wedges chop sweet potato up into wedges, put in dish. add fry light/HEB oil, salt, herbs (e.g.: pepper, paprika, rosemary, oregano etc) then cook at 180 for 30 mins/until done. i find they usually take a bit longer to cook.

Mugshots they are a brill snack! they are free but the cheesy one is nasty (and syned) and the thai one is gorge but 2 syns a sachet.

    My go-to foods are:

Bitesize shredded wheat (HEB) with sliced banana & strawberries and a FF yoghurt
Grilled bacon with scrambled eggs, "fried" mushrooms and tomatoes and baked beans
    All day fruit salad

    Mmmm.

:T on losses, esp getting into the next 'stone' down evilsquid. That always feels good.

I love baked beans with bacon chopped in (regular breakfast treat) but haven't tried it with cheese.

I love SW curry, make mine with passata and have SW chips and rice with it.

Gammon steaks with SW chips, mushy peas, tomatoes and portabello mushrooms.

Any roasts with SW roast potatoes and parsnips and loads of other veggies so only syns in the gravy.

I'm going through a "creamy" moment atm lol. cheese is the easiest way to get the "creamy" hit without resorting to actual cream :rotfl: suppose i should be thankful its not sweet i'm craving, at least i can get this all under HE!
