Senora_Pie wrote: »Evening ladies. Well done to everyone doing well, and everyone holding on! I'm definitely in the latter group at the moment!
Have been missing for ages, but am FiNALLY getting over a couple of illnesses so I'm determined to get back on it. Have made soups today for all of my weeks lunches, roasted red pepper and squash, and spinach and garlic. Yum
Have also made a meal plan for the week, with tasks shared out between myself and my husband. Lack of organisation just leads to laziness, waste and bad food. So I'm trying to kick that from now on.
Haven't been too bad lately, but feel like I'm stalled. Had a talk with myself earlier though about my reasons for doing this and it's not the time to give up yet. I don't know what size I eventually will be happy at, but I know I'm not there yet. So onwards and (scales) downwardsHave to keep thinking of my lovely shopping spree when I finally get there (am putting £25 for every half stone in a savings account, so have £125 so far
) and think less of how tasty the chocolate is  :rotfl:
Just had ryvita crackerbread and philadelphia light for my HEX. How I wish cadbury philadelphia were a HE :rotfl:
Morning Senora.. this was me last week, i knew i had to get back on track! I've had a week back now and feel better for it.. What a fabulous idea for a shopping spree with the saved money!
If you need a sweet fix i can recommend 2 ryvita crunch with philly choc  - i have this as pudding.. 1 Heb with 2 syns worth of choc philly. Obviously only good if you can wak away after two
Well this morning was my first weigh in after "getting back on track" and i've los 4lbs!!!!! :j:j:jSo in total thats 7lbs since xmas, and the first half stone done! :T
So i'm doing a green day today
B - apple, yogurt, weetabix (2)
L - spaghetti hoops, apple
T - HM lasagne with big salad.. Heb for mince - there's 85g in a portion but i can't remember how much makes up a HEb
S - crisps (4) 2 ryvita crunch, choc philly (2)Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
hi Cande
Looks like it. The apple and bramley ones seem to be free, but the ordinary ones are now sinned :-(it says on the packet it's a new recipe , so something has been added to cause a syn seems like. You can still do 'free' sausages though on a red, or extra easy day, by making them yourself make them the same as if making a burger, but do them in a sausage shape instead :-) There is a SW recipe for glamorgan sausages as well, which are veggie, and are free on a green, and extra asy day :-)

Well done shala-moo, that's a great loss!Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000
Current mortgage £28,0000 -
Just popped in to say I've done my weigh in and.... drumroll... I am now -2.5lbs so that gives me my first half stone gone :jI've lost 8.5 lbs in 5 weeks so I'm pleased. Last week was 3 green days, 4 extra easy days and a total of 90 syns.
The hard bits this week are today and tomorrow... tomorrow is my birthday so today we're going to lunch with my parents, and tomorrow we have a table booked at La Tasca for their Valentine's Day menu. I'll take butter buds with me today and hope I can have a jacket potato.
Good luck everyone this week, eat well and stick to it, it definitely works!!!"...And if it don't feel good, what are you doing it for?" - Robbie Williams - 'Candy'0 -
Thank Kandfs...
Well done Alexelisey - great loss in 5 weeks!! Have a lovely birthday lunch, try and balance out the next few days - hopefully they'll be sensible yet lovely options on the menu as you don't want to feel deprived of having a lovely birthday..Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Well, my plans for a lovely Valentine's Day dinner with DH have been slightly scuippered as my F-I-L is staying! He's the kind of poerson who will have no idea it's valentine's day and we can't really ask him to go home as he's come to help us decorate the hall, but we thought he was coming at the end of the week... eek! Will have to freeze the lovely fish I bought and have our valentine's meal later in the week.
Meanwhile a very boozy weekend for me, and I feel like I am starting afresh now. I have been naughty but only in small fits and starts so the damage is minimal.0 -

Hi Everyone - just jumping in to say hello. Haven't read any posts for the last few days so hope everyone is doing well and had good results.
Finally made it to Glasgow after a really long journey but was really really pleased with myself as I packed all my food and did exactly what I planned. Didn't buy any choc or biccies during my 5 hour layover in Amsterdam airport which I definitely would have done had I not planned and brought my food. I've been on plan since I got to my Mum's and feeling really proud of myself. :T My brother said he could really see I'd lost weight and that's an amazing compliment as my brother doesn't do touchy-feely at all!
Read the new mag on the journey and looking forward to making some of the recipes when I get home. Off shopping with Mum this morning so that I stock up on fruit and veg and check out all the other foodstuff that you lot are always going on about! I'm also going to buy a few things to take back with me.
Cyber love and hugs to everyone and I'll keep checking in whenever I can get to the computer.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
Morning All
Hope you are all well, I had a good weekend, at the party on Friday I drank Diet Irn Bru and ate…….5 pickles :A. There was no salad stuff at all and no cold meat (except on sandwiches)Saturday, however, was another day, I had 1.5 bottles wine and a few bits of mars bar car fell in my mouth
I did have, a big long walk on Sunday as well and will go walking during lunch hours this week. This is the week I do my family meal planner, online shop and batch cook, I am going to do a SW one just for myself but it takes time to put all the recipes, ingredients etc on but is well worth it and saves me a lot of money and time at night!
Well done to all that lost :T
My Meal plan today
B - Berries & FF yoghurt
L - HM Chicken Broth, Small WM bap, 2 x LC light (HEA & HEB)
D - SW Speedy Chicken & Vegetable rice with broccoli & sprouts on the side

to all wondering about Quorn: it was all reformulated and now unless its basically the mince or chicken bits its syned. Linda McCartney Red Onion & Rosemary Sausages, 6 pack, frozen, 50g each are free on all plans and her Vegetarian Italian Sausages, 6 pack, frozen, 50g each are 1/2 syn each on all plans. i always thought they were nicer than the quorn ones anyway but now you can have normal sausages for just a few syns more i went down the route of having a proper one for 3.
well done shala_moo and Alexelisey!
yesterday was a bit of a write off, out for a meal again. i had steak, jacket potato and salad but i had camembert to start with so i did a green day to get the camembert under as a HEB. steak was HEB and synned. also had a wedge of bread and 1/2 a brownie and ice cream. think i was just over my syns for the week so hopefully its not down too much. having no nights out this week apart from visiting a friend on fri so hopefully i can rein it in this week.0
