On the sausage discussion.. if you're a meat eater then i recommend Skinny Lizzie sausages, I get mine from Morrisons £2.99 for 6 last time i got them.. or sometimes on offer.

They aren't fatty at all and they're huge.. think there are two flavours - normal 1 syn each and the black pepper ones are 0.5 i think..

Whoop whoop, the dry week has had results.... 3.5lb off this week! Very pleased and that takes my loss to 1st 1.5lb since 9th Jan!!

I'm so encouraged by that loss that I might go for another dry week this week as we have nothing on this weekend.

I don't get home from work until 6.30 most nights, by which time I am starving and can't bear to be stood in a kitchen. So, when the mood takes me (mostly weekends), I do a batch cook of lots of different things, currys for husband, chicken casseroles for me etc. - chop loads of veg, make masses of food, put it in the plastic chinese containers that I save (makes me feel bad at how many chineses we have had! :rotfl:) put a label on, put the syns on and then it goes into the freezer. I love it, the kitchen is like a bombsite but its only once or twice a month not every night and I always have a home cooked meal available to take out of the freezer in the mornings. :D

Ammonite, I do the same, every 4 weeks, I do a "cookathon" for me, personally it is well worth it as I am out from 7.20 in the morning and most weeks not home until 6.30 by the time I collect kids so all I need to do is heat up a fresh homecooked meal. My Dh has been eating a lot of the SW stuff I have been making so am giong to introduce more of that in this months planner. The spread sheet I have works out my shopping list for me as well (I just tick if I need it and excel puts it on my list) :rotfl:I am going to start my SW meal planner this week but it does take a lot of inputting

PS Poundland/Home Bargains do the chinese tubs in packs of 10 as I use loads of them!

I like the idea of excel moving the foods that you tick into another list - how do you do that?

I just HAVE to share this with you. I've just made the salmon in a parcel recipe from the new SW mag and it was totally, absolutely, amazingly DELISH.

I didn't have any white wine so I used lemon juice instead so it was completely free.

Really yummy and quite filling too, do try it.
Oh dear, here we go again.
