Well I'm on night shift number 2 at the moment. I managed quite well on yesterdays, just 7 syns, but i'm finding it harder tonight. Last night was busier, so I didn't have as much time to eat. I'm also getting fed up of soooo much cooking, and washing up. My kitchen is small, and it looks like a permanent wreck at the moment!
I like to save my HEB for an evening snack, so that means rice, potato, noodles or pasta for lunch and dinner. I miss just making a quick sarnie for lunch. It will be 3 weeks of SW for me on Tuesday, without a single day off plan, or more than 11 syns. Goodness knows who you guys do it for months on end. I've got so much admiration for you lovely ladies who have lost 2 stone + :-)
When i'm on nights I do my food from when I got up 1.30pm today until going to bed at 7am Sunday morning
Lunch - cold lamb (1 syn, as orig cooked in wine) potato wedges, roast carrot, stir fry cabbage
snack - an orange & sw choc mousse (1 syn)
Dinner - chicken casserole made with leeks, onion, carrott, swede & parsnip, baked potato. a couple of spoons of Onken fat free yog
Supper (1am) - HEA&B - wholemeal bread x2 with PHL light, satsuma, cherries, mullerlight
Breakfast - 1/2 syn cake with fresh pineapple, Hi-Fi light bar (3 syn)
I might also have a curly wurly0 -
Good morning my lovelys
WI day for me today and ....................
-2lbs
That puts me back in the 80lb club and only 1 measly pound to lose to get back to pre Christmas weight.
I have been faffing in my wardrobe and found a pair of whiteyes white jeans. What planet I was on when I bought them about 7 years ago I have no idea. They are a Marks and Spencer size 20 with elastain. Now even when I was a size 20 they would go no where near
Well there they were hiding in the back of the cupboard covered in storage stains and looking very small
Tried them on I did (I do have this false body image thing going on :rotfl:) Begger me but they not only pulled up but nearly fastened. Lying down on the bed I could have managed it.
My aim is to get them on for my holidays in May. Just so long as I can get the storage marks out of them. I have them soaking in a bowl of hot water with some Persil liquid and a slight squidge of bleach - they have two chances now - either come back white or stay a nasty shade of winter white
Dizzypoo - Hugs to you sweetie - you sure have a lot going on at the moment. Now just for you and - you understand I would not do this for just anybody you know - here is a little something from me
That's just for you sweetieMags - who loves shopping0 -

Haven't posted the last week as have been so far off the sw wagon I couldn't even see it in the distance! I didn't even go to group last week! I have been keeping up with you guys though and well done on all the losses and hugs to those who need them.
So this morning is first day back on plan. As yet have had nothing but am going to have sw full English in a bit will post the rest of my day tonight and hopefully that way I won't lose the plot this evening.

I, too, am hoping to get back to the pre-Christmas weight this week......
yesterday was the first day that I felt anything like normal since last Sunday - it has been a very grotty week.
But... I tried on the old size 22 jeans this week - the only thing I kept from the pre S/W days......
I can just about put both legs into one leg of those jeans!:D:D:D:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Well done you losers
.
I think I've shed the New Year weight, and late Jan week in Gambia weight. Just the Xmas weight to go, then the build up to Xmas weight, and I'll be back in target.
Then to set a slightly lower target .
Been v good these week - done a Food Diary online. Syns this week - 9, 4.5
, 16.5
, 15
, 24 . Whoops. New Italian opened so went in for lunch. Started very well - ordered sparkling water :A, salad starter :A, pasta & salmon in tomato sauce :A. Unfortunately, we had bread rolls and garlic bread on the table , and I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side . Then small glass of white wine last week. Still, never mind, back on track today, fry up for brekkie, 2 sys :A.
Bring on WI tomorrow night :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Well done losers.... fingers crossed for tomorrow for WI for me. I've had boiled eggs followed by fruit for breakfast. Not sure what lunch will be yet - maybe a baked tattie with beans, then making a boiled gammon + tatties + loads of veg for tea. I like to blast my gammon in the oven for 15 minutes with a treacle, mustard powder and brown sugar glaze so that will be my syns for the day even though most of the glaze slips off and you're only left with a tiny bit around the edge of each slice of meat. Yum, I am salivating at the thought...
Going to take the kids swimming this afternoon so that'll get me up off the sofa. I am pleased to say that my clothes are fitting much better already and I'm looking forward to starting to buy smaller sizes than my current size 22.Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000

Dizzy - i feel for you with no internet - can you not get a pay as you go dongle for when you are at BIL's, infact i'd make him buy it for you as you are being so kind to look after his dogs even though you don't need the extra pressure at the moment...TakeItEazy wrote: »Oh and for gawds sake get your BIL to either board his dogs or pay a more able [no offence to you my lovely but you have more than enough on your plate [no pun intended

Chin up sweetheart, you will get there :A
I think the doggie situation seems to be getting a bit of an unspoken 'expected' thing nowhe did say the other day that he had just paid his quarterly gas & electric bills and it was £400:eek: (but it was estimated) silly sod here offered to give him some money towards it as i'm not using my heating at home through the week......thankfully he said no though
as he would be really stuck without me helping out at the moment, this just made me feel even more terrible for moaning about doing it:(
As for the dongle thing, well last week I did think about this & was going to ask his neighbour to get me one on his way back from work (I know he uses one cos hes a teacher and its the only way they can get access up there) but when I arrived I found he had taken his laptop away to work with him  but then I found out he was busy with it looking for work in the evenings as hes non too happy with working where he is at the moment.
So this week I don't know whether he is leaving it or taking it, but his next door neighbour (the teacher) is going on holiday & has asked me to feed their cats twice a day......I just can't say no can i!:oand said he will leave his lappy & passwords out so I can hop on when I go round :ADizzypoo - Hugs to you sweetie - you sure have a lot going on at the moment. Well done everyone!
I am 2lb off my first mini-goal so going to work extra hard this week to make sure I reach it. Haven't been very hungry this week so definitely haven't eaten very much which is why I've lost I think so not expecting miracles this week. Starting to feel it slightly in my clothes and the daily WI is so motivating to see the scales sts or go down 1/4 or 1/2 a pound. Happily feel as though I'm starting to break bad habits and deal with difficult situations well (i.e. faced with a biscuit barrel and just having one! not solving world peace or anything truly difficult!)

Magnolia, I thought I'd send you this as motivation for the white jeans! I treated myself to some last summer with a stripy top and it felt great. At this rate yours may be too big by May!;)
I'm keeping up with the thread but I won't post what I'm eating at the moment. Thursday, I had to pay at group for the first time since August. I've been seriously trying to eat more but I'm really not feeling like it. My tummy feels very gurgly and queasy and it's worrying me. Yesterday I ate lots and felt rough. Today I'm experimenting with very little to see if it makes a difference.
Sorry to be such a misery. Back soon.0 -
Fab losses ladies :j
Gally - wouldn't worry about your syns - it averages at 14 a day so you're still in the SW guidelines. Well done for counting them all...
Dizzy - don't let him make you feel guilty about using elec/gas - it would cost him alot more to put the dogs in kennels!! Can you move next door to the neighbours next week for the internet - it'll be like a holiday home :rotfl:i'm sure cats need company for a couple of hours a day as well as feeding
