I'm happy with the added veg in those dishes. It's a good mse habit as well as SW friendly;) Spinach is good stirred into curry too. In the magazines they sometimes suggest a side salad with them but that seems a bit strange to me. I try to balance out my third superfree across the day rather than worry too much about individual meals. I won't have a huge amount with my lunch today but this evening's massive stir-fry will even things out. I often eat a bowl of red berries with yogurt as an an evening snack or have a satsuma in my bag for quick fixes when I'm out.
EE for me:
B: HEB porage with HEA milk, banana and teas
L: Heated up LO veg plus peas
D:beef stir-fry with Golden rice0 -
Hi there, i'm going to start doing sw again at home and just wanted to know if any of you use the Easiyo yogurt http://www.easiyo.com/index.html andif that fits in with sw in any way?? Many thanks0

hey any chance you can pst all the yummy slimming world versions of these? thanks x
Hi Chardonnay,
I'm not really a recipe follower so I've googled some recipes to check amounts - these aren't exactly what i do but close enough
I think the chow mein would be free on EE, the Yuk sung would have a few syns and the curry would have too, BBQ sauce is syn free though. I would also make some SW chips to go with it and egg fried rice...
Chow mein
Dried egg noodles
Chicken (or quorn pieces)
1 tsp chinese five spice
Soy sauce
Chilli sauce to taste
Stir fry veg like peppers, spring onions, carrots and beansprouts
- cook noodles as per instructions on the packet
- cut up the chicken into bite size pieces and mix in a dash of soy sauce, chinese five spice and chilli sauce.
- Heat wok, spray with frylight and stir fry the chicken for 3-4 mins until golden (if it sticks add a bit of water)
- add your stir fry veg and fry until cooked to your liking
- add a dash more of soy sauce and the noodles and stir through untl noodles are coated
Yuk sung (4-6 servings)
Iceberg lettuce
500g lean pork mince or chicken mince
grated ginger (i use from a jar so about 2 tsps)
2 garlic cloves, smushed
2 spring onions, chopped finely
1 stalk of celery, chopped finely
1 can of water chestnuts, chopped finely
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsps oyster sauce(syns?)
1 tbsp dry sherry or sake(syns?)
1 tsp sweetner
1 tbsp sesame oil(syns?)
- Separate the lettuce leaves, wash and pat dry
- mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, dry sherry and sugar
- put the pork mince in the wok and cook until browned, set aside
- heat the sesame oil in the wok, add garlic, ginger and spring onions until aromatic
- add the water chestnuts and celery and cook for a few minutes
- add the sauce mixture and the pork, reduce the mixture to your liking
- to serve spoon into lettuce leaves and wrap
Chicken curry - there are lots of free recipes that you can use, but i use the Win Yip curry paste which has a few syns in it - if you google chinese chicken curry i'm sure you'd find a free one
BBQ sauce for pork pieces - i got this off a blog ages ago, its lovely - no syns
1 onion, peeled and roughly chopped
1 tsp mild chilli powder
225ml passata
3 tbsp artifical sweetner
4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 ts mustard powder
salt and pepper
Pork, chopped into strips of pieces (i don't use ribs as you would have to syn them)
- soften the onion in a pan with a bit of frylight or water (or use the microwave)
- add the chilli powder
- stir in passata, sweetner, vinegar, worcestshire sauce, mustard powder and salt and pepper
- simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
- brown off the pork in a pan, add the BBQ sauce cook until pork has cooked through
Hope that helps... now i want chinese!!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

I think you would have to syn the cheese. Or syn the milk, especially if you don't use your whole quota as a HEA, and use the cheese as HEA instead. On EE you don't need the 2 HEBs cos most of the things that are HEBs (meat on green days; pasta and potatoes on red days) are free on EE.
It's not been a good Bank Holiday for me really, not counting the rotten weather. I just had to drive to the next town with my cat wrapped up and howling and fitting in the back of the car so he could be given a lethal injection, bless him, I've had him 17 years, rescued him as a feral and he taught me everything I know about cats and much about life (eg cats are better than men:o ) but he had renal failure and arthritis and this never-ending fit today just wasn't fair on him. I am sad and going over my syns with a big glass of wine cos Sammy never complained about my size.
thank you
and lots of hugs blackberry-rum xxxxx really feel for you xxxx
so extra easy for me today. menu as follows: -
Breakfast - Hi fi bar - HEB
melon pot from Mr T
mullerlight toffee yogurt
Lunch: SW pasta quiche with added corgette and red onion (pepper also I think?)
with side salad of lettuce, spring onion, yellow pepper (carrot sticks have gone back in the fridge)
syns (Fat Free Vinaigrette)
other syns = treat size twirl bar (6) and small cup of Tropicanca (need to check syns).
Don't know what tea will be - something easy (first day back at work after BH) have lamb shank that takes just 10 mins in microwave so might have that with veg and small spud or might splurge and have sw chips.
Feel I have had my  and feel ready to get back on track and eat properly. Walked round supermarket earlier and mocked all the bad stuff ! and instead picked up mullerlite, half price pack of kiwi fruit and melon and grape pot ! planning for 1 pound a week from now until xmas :T
have a lovely afternoon all.
eta - I realise how syns can quickly add up when have "chocolate fix". will want a few syns for tea also (sauce?) might try to plan syns for week - perhaps limiting choc fix till weekend - do find that I stick to sw principles most days for my main meals but spoilt best laid plans with too many syns in between - will try to have bottomless supply of carrot sticks and the like to nibble on instead of synful choices.
Not been the best week and doubt very much whether today's efforts will have much of a difference for weigh in tomorrow morning but hey, one has to start somewhere and I am fed up of saying I will start being good tomorrow because tomororw never comes !0 -
hello,
been abit lazy about sw for a couple of weeks so i am back here to post my foodies
ee-
b - cherries, 1 x alpen light (3.5), starbucks latte (a)
l - ham sandwich (b) (? flora syns), muller light, orange, apple, plum tomatoes
d - not sure but i have wi tonight so it will be something quick when i get home. maybe sw chips and quorn burger
i have recently discovered tescos value midget gems. which i grabbed loads of cos they are only 33p a pack and 4 gems = 1 syn, only thing is i cant stop at 4 gems and keep eating nearly all a packet at a time!!

Just been to weigh in ......-6lbs!!!!
Thats fab well done Miss Piggy:T
HUGE hugs Blackberry:( I am a massive cat lover and lost a few over the years and have been devastated. They really are part of the family and the house seems so quiet without them.
Well last night was fun:D Still in my jammies as i've been awake less than an hour:o
So meal plan needs adjusted to take account of the fact i've missed half the day:rotfl: The less said about the number of syns last night the better!
Green as always:
A for milk - little a signifies where it goes
Coffee(a)
2 x alpen light(B), yoghurt, nana, tea(a)
Omelette(a), cheese(A), SW chips, beans
No superfrees unfortunately but he fact i'm on plan is enough today:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
SW Bargains!!!
Just been to Asda and Batchelors Pasta and Sauce and Savoury Rice are all on offer for 40p each (think Supernoodles are too but I'm not sure how SW friendly they are?)
I often make up a pasta and sauce the night before when doing tea and take it to work for lunch (just bung in the microwave for 2 mins). One of these and a bit of fruit makes a nice filling low syn (or syn free depending on the flavour) lunch - cheap too now!
ETA - forgot to say muller lights are on offer at 30p each too0 -

Mmm....this could be the reason I have a Pasta and Sauce and Savoury rice mountain in my cupboard right now!!:rotfl:They are great for snacks and often help in making up meals too so I think they're brilliant!
Menu here today:
B: Banana
L: Leftover chicken jambalaya (lots of SF included). WW dessert recipe yoghurt
D: Home-made meatballs with tomato sauce as per SW recipe. Smells lovely. Piglet badgering me for it already!:rotfl:
Drinks: Coffees (HEXA) Lots of squash
Snacks: Ryvitas (HEXB) and cottage cheese (light choices tesco one with roasted pepper pesto is bloody lovely!!)
Syns: None - saving them for weekend!:D
Couple of things....before now I always bought "lean" mince as thought there couldn't be much difference between that and "extra lean". But absolutely NO fat came off this lot! Just goes to show! Also...when it comes to syn free yoghurts, the WW dessert recipe ones win hands down for me. I always get halfway through a muller and get to that "bleugh" point...if you know what I mean!!:rotfl:
