Thanks to everyone for the encouragement.

Sarah I am so sorry to hear your sad news.

Debs I think you need to try and get your head around the fact that a loss is a loss no matter how small. You also have to ask yourself whether you got to the weight you are overnight or over a long period of time. We all want instant success and quite rightly so when we're working so hard for it but the truth of the matter is that losing weight is probably one of the hardest things we'll ever have to do and to keep focused is incredibly hard. If it were as easy to lose weight as it is to gain we'd all be thin and nobody here would be working at this for the months and years that they have.

I finally managed a whole SW day yesterday with no hiccups! It's taken me a while to get back in the swing of things.

Piglet - WOW!!!!!!!! Well done you! So proud of you and happy for you! That is what I lack, determination, if I stopped losing I'd just think "s*d it" and eat my way back up. I need some of your determination!!! It has paid off too :D:D:D:D:D
    (read: geek!)

    thank you so much:A

when i went home from class last week after the STS...i give myself a good talking to...i said.."Piggy...this can go one of 3 ways...
    1. you can eat rings round you and go back next week with weight on..:o
    2. you can throw in the towel now....and eat rings round you...and end up back at group next year with 7 stone to loose:eek:
    3. you can do something constructive!;)

so i went and rummaged out the outfit i wore the night i joined SW...and i could fit my 2 legs...into 1 leg of the trousers...:o

    so....i stayed on track....and thankfully...it paid off! :D

Hello all. Had a rough few days - have lost the baby and comfort eating has taken its toll. (Loss wasn't unexpected as I have a history of it, but still). Anyway, I am drawing a line under it and have made a promise to myself not to get crazy about it because clearly I just needed to let off steam. Not going to weigh for a few days to try and balance out the shedload of syns ingested over the past few days. :(

weigh in isnt important at the mo,
    you are :A

I do understand it's a long hard process, although i'm new to SW I have dieted for 20 years. Usually I loose weight very slowly and last week just gave me hope that finally I how found a diet that was really effective on my body. Maybe it still will be, only time will tell.
If I hadn't stuck to it then that would be different, it would be my own fault!
