  • gained 1/2 a pound but once again i thought it'd be much worse. had friends over so takeaways and eating out and drink was bound to catch up with me.

spoke to my consultant about my interview, shed already been told someone from round here was looking at doing it! my old group still hasn't had its own consultant and she took over temporarily when i left years ago!

she said its more of just an informalish chat about me and where i am and the fact I've put weight back on and can admit its all just been stress eating means i look better in SW eyes because i can look at it, admit it and move on. it also shows potential class members that i do know how they feel when they get stressed and eat because of it.

apparently they are looking at my personality and if i can gossip and chat and actually get up infront of a class and take a group rather than if i know the plan inside out because the training gives me all of that anyway.

I've been really good again this week, on plan every day, and only between 5-10 syns........but it's WI day tomorrow and I just don't feel like I have lost any.

    Hi everybody,

I was wondering if maybe allowed to join in with you all on your slimming world journeys please. I did have an half hearted attempt last year, but then gave up.

I have always been on the big side since childhood and have been on and off diets most of the time since then, I have tried Weight Watchers and did lose a bit on slimming world last year, but have put it all back on, and more :o

I started lasted Monday and it was my first weigh in today, and I have lost 5lbs:j - dead chuffed with myself.

I can't afford to go to the meetings, but I'm hoping with the literature that I can find online and hopefully if you guys wouldn't mind me asking the odd few (hundred!!) questions, that I might be able to do well this time.

Sorry for rambling, just wanted to introduce myself and let you all know where I'm at just now.

Hope to get to know you all a little better on our journeys.

    E xx

    Morning all..

Debsjc - i always lost the most when i felt like i hadn't lost any.. don't worry, you'll be fine x

    Hi Cande.. welcome!

Well i tried the chocolate philadelphia yesterday  it's lovely. I had 2 syns worth on 2 crackerbread, so i think that worked out at 4 syns in total.. worth it if you need a rich lucious snack.. couldn't eat a lot of it to be fair as it's very rich!

So red day for me today

B - apple, weetabix (Heb and Hea)
L - chicken salad pitta (heb) with mayo (1)
T - beef stew, loads of veg carrot and swede mash
S - crisps (4) pineapple, satsumas, milk in tea (hea)

Have a good day everyone x

2 new discoveries from me this morning. Onken fat free vanilla yogurt is gorgeous, especially on fruit (and it's syn free)
Plus i've found a way to eat the scan bran, break them into bits and soak them in some diet coke - they taste better, and are easier on the teeth!

Well done piglet, I'm chuffed for you, you've had such a frustrating time lately so you mus feel wonderful. Onward and upward now!

I went to my Pizza Hut meal last night full of good intentions, only to find that meal deals had been ordered so there was very little choice. So I just did the best I could. The lowest cal pizza on offer was red onion and mushroom at 150 per slice so I had 2 slices which I'm reckoning is 15 syns, then asked for a box to bring the rest home for DS. I had 2 bowls of salad piled high (wish they would make the bowls bigger!) and 1 spoonful of coleslaw and took my own bottle of FF vinaigrette. So I reckon probably 16-17 syns for the lot. Phew, got away without too much damage.

Went to Asda in the morning and they had Shape Delight toffee puds on offer and I do love them and figured they probably weren't too synful, but after I'd eaten one I thought I'd better check and found they are 5.5 each - aaargh!

So all in all yesterday was a bit of a write-off. Ah well, new day today, just had yog, shredded wheat, banana and strawberries for brekky so feeling fairly virtuous.
Oh dear, here we go again.

thanks guys :A for all your support an kinds words

i dont think of it as i actually lost 3lbs this week.....i think it was a combination of being really good this past few weeks.....and only loosing 0.5lb and the STS the last week.....i think all the being good finally all caught up....

in the same way....if you were really bold one week......and think you were lucky to stay the same....but then continue to be bold the next week....then all of a sudden you have a gain of 3lbs....i think it works both ways in that respect sometimes.
