Magnolia - what part of York are you? (I may have asked before - I've a brain like a sieve at the moment!)

I am not from York itself - more like a bit south - Selby in fact.

Son lives on Leeman Road though ;)
    Mags - who loves shopping

Thanks for the soup recipe mm. I love lentil soup so that'll make a nice twist. I'll get some frozen cauli as fresh cost an arm and a leg here.

kandfsmam, unless you really dislike roasties (is that possible:eek:) then the SW ones made with frylight are excellent. It just seems like lots of work to cook two lots of potatoes.

Dizzy, you'll notice a few changes when you get your new books. Some are for the better in that quantities of cheese in HEs have been upped a bit but, sadly, WW Brown Danish is now only 2 slices for a HEB. I've gone back to wholemeal. I wonder if they've done it just to spite WW!:rotfl:

Thanks maman but I would always make mashed tatties & roasties with a Sunday roast - I couldn't imagine only having roast potatoes and no mash - maybe it's just a Scottish thing :rotfl:

As it is I misjudged the time the gammon would take to boil and left it too long before putting it on so we're having pasta bake instead :o

    * week for me so not sure if I'll lose much or not this week
    Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000

Disastrous attempt to get back on the wagon! Need to get a grip of myself or I'm going to be fat and 30.

Went shopping today and got some good SW friendly stuff so will be back tomorrow.

Hi Dizzy!! Nice to see you, sorry you've been having a poo time x

Well Its been a while since I posted.....and an awful lot has been happening for me so I'd best update you lovely lot.
Dizzy! it's so good to see/hear you! What a time you've had, half a stone is nothing bearing in mind it's hard for you to get to the shops etc (if you call it 7 lb it sounds even less). I hope all the various strands work out ... I know MIL won't but you know what I mean.

I plucked up courage and weighed myself this morning, still bang on 10st so that's ok. And I feel churny and dizzy (!) and sick today, and yesterday really. Don't know what I've eaten but I wish it would come out :o

SOOOOOOOOOO glad to hear from you Dizzy, have been so concerned as knew you were having such a hard time. Glad to hear Mum is home & recuperating with her family. Also good to hear MIL is still here & fighting, must be a strong willed woman. Hope Mr D is on the mend soon and back home before you know it. Can just see you two crutch fighting :rotfl:
me too, but my picture may be slightly different (and slightly more difficult) than yours!
