hi all
PIZZA- pizza hut do a 500cal pizza - either chicken, prawn or veggie i think. it tastes nice and has a no-dressing salad with it. =25syns (but only 500cals so the size of a normal meal eg batchelors pasta n sauce which is free!)
i always used to have that.
and fill up on the free salads stuff - beetroot, toms, cuc etc = but avoid the bacon bits, crutons & creamy pasta's.
ENJOY it whatever you decide to go for = if i don't order pizza i end up eating dh's or the kids anyways.
ammonite - i did a week of green last week with pasta/potato every day - and STS (only 70syns for the week)
lots of people say a week of green bloats them and they don't loose - red is better i think.
i'm aiming to get back on plan without obsessing - have had a tuna sarnie for lunch (but dh says 2 tbsp mayo), and pk of quavers. so that makes me red today - but planning soup for tea. I sos text my consultant yesterday and she rang me and was realy lovely in helping me focus after i lost the plot and had a cake pig out (now suffering though as my stomach is killing me)
good eating everyone

Oh yes of course you did Saidan silly meHmm I usually do 5 red, 2 green but I might do 3 green in the week so it is easier for me at work and 4 red and ensure the red are over the weekend when I find it easier to eat 'red'. Will keep the green days away from WI day too
Good luck jumping back on the plan lovely! Consultant sounds really lovely too!0 -

my aunt has just told me she has roast potatoes on in hers at the mo! she loves it and says you would never go back to a deep fat fryer, slimming or not!:D0 -
Yeah - I survived the Italian restaurant! I had exactly what I planned - a salad to start with techina dressing on the side (there was half the quantity left when I'd finished which would never have happened in the past) and then penne with tomato, pepper and aubergine sauce - not what I would have ideally had but the best on the menu for me and I was stuffed at the end.
Thanks to everyone who helped me through the decision process.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
Well done MM :-)
I went to an Italian Restraunt on Sunday night, and my heart sank when I saw the menu, as most was creamy, saucy stuff etc. In the end I opted for a salad, which had goats cheese, and olives in, which were the only synned items. The pannechetta I gave to someone else as it looked really fatty. I asked for it not to have dressing on, and asked for a lemon quarter with it, for me to use in place of the dressing :-) It was lovely, and I enjoyed it, and will look to do the same when we eat out, when the menu looks too syn laden :-)A work in progress0 -

I didn't even look at the menu - I'd gone online last night so I knew what I wanted and I told them without looking at the actual menu! When I saw the creamy pasta dishes arrive for the others I really wanted them but didn't even have a taste. Can't be sure I'll always be this strong willed but I'll take it while it lasts.
So eating for today looked like this -
Thursday 2 February 2012
B-Frittata – spring onions, courgette, tomato, mushrooms, 2 eggs, seasoning, 45g mozzarella – HEA
S-Persimmon
L-Tuna Salad – cabbage, peppers, cucumber, red onion, beetroot, seasoning, tuna, 1 tblspn light mayo – 2 syns
D-Italian meal with family – salad, pasta with tomato, pepper & aubergine sauce
S-0% Activa yoghurt with chopped kiwi and persimmonMediterranean Mum

Well done MM - That shows Real control to go to dinner and not go for the calorie laded treats.
Can anyone help me with some worries please
This is only my 2nd week of SW, but after years of other diets I am so scared it will stop working (even though I lost an amazing 7 lb the first week)
Because of this I never eat all my syns. Tonight I have 7 left and would love a Dime bar, but I worry that if I eat chocolate I won't lose weight.
For those who have done SW for a while can I really have 10 syns a day, and still see good results?
I would really like to lose 2-3 pound this week.0 -
I know exactly how you feel Debsjc - that's the way I feel and I never eat all my syns. If I have a bad day and I've eaten more than I should I forget that I've got the syns for a lot of it and could probably have prevented a bad day by just eating within my syn allowance.Mediterranean Mum
