Can anyone help with this please?
I bought the 'Free Branded Foods' book last night, and in it was 'Tesco Simply Cook Chicken Breasts wrapped in Bacon & cheese'
I just double checked it the SW website & it shows as havng 2 syns - not sure if this is per pack or per portion, and why the difference between the book and the website?
Thanks :-)0 -
I am going to make this tomorrow, sounds lovely, is this the recipe you used? I tend to do a dish for 4 so I can freeze 3 but this recipe serves one?
Thanks for the recipe, it sounds lovely. I'll try this later on in the week.I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions...0 -
I think the couscous cake, as long as the couscous wasn't ground to make a 'flour', and the couscous prepared as you would normally prepare couscous, would be free, as you haven't taken it out of it's normal condition. Unless, because the cake is bake, that would be another form of using the couscous, as normally you wouldn't bake it ???!!!! I'm only guessing.
Also, Instant mash is free on green days, so again, as long as it's not being used in any other type of form, i.e ground up, and made as directed othe packet, then that would be free as well. I suppose the problem with the scones is that it isn't being added as a prepared mixture, and is substituting flour, so maybe, it would have to be sinned in that case. For the pizza base, it is being used as instant mash, and prepared as directed on the packet. Again. I'm only guessing. I made both the cake and scones last week, and classed them as free, without thinking about. I've looked on their website, but can't fine any info. Although. I haven't delved that deep.A work in progress0 -
Hi all, seems to be a lot of positive feeling on the board today! Well done losers.
Ok, my dilemma. I have to go for a meal at Pizza Hut at the weekend (not my choice of venue but an event I can't get out of). What should I choose?Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
Hello all
Can anyone tell me how many syns in Heinz Squeeze and Stir?
I read this: http://www.minimins.com/syn-values/236399-heinz-squeeze-stir-soups.html but couldn't get a final answer really.
Struggling for low-syn lunch ideas for RED days. I have access to a kettle and nothing else. Too cold for salad. Any suggestions?
I do well on green days, hardly need any syns, seriously wonder if I could lose doing 7 days of green? does anyone do this and do it well? i lose weight on red due to lack of carbs.0 -

135g grated mozzarella
1. Boil the potatoes and drain when just ready.
2. In some frylight, saute the onion then add the red pepper and tomato.
3. Add the mushrooms and sweetcorn and mix well.
4. Add a couple of teaspoons of oregano, a good shaking of chili flakes and a few grinds of black pepper.
5. Add the baked beans and combine all together.
6. Pour into a casserole and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
7. Bake in the oven until the cheese has melted and browned.

Evening ladies,
Thanks for the advice, I've taken it all on board  I MUST vary what I eat as I really do stick to the same old stuff
I've been thinking about this all day. I have decided that if I had to chose either
a) to stay the same weight forever and not lose another lb, but carry on eating as much as I do now or
b) cut down and watch what I eat with regard to free foods and lose more weight, then I'd rather stay as I am.
I have a binge eating dissorder that I have struggled with for nearly 25 years since I was 15. I haven't binged since the day I started SW back in May last year. If I start to 'deprive' myself again I'll defo start binging. Atm I eat when I want to, but I don't feel guilty because SW says I can. A HUGE weight has been lifted from my mind (and my body!) and so I'm content. If not losing anymore is the price then at least I'm not putting it on
Maybe, like cyclingyorkie said, it will come off just slowlyI can cope with that.
AS for pasta and rice Laura, I'm a fussy fart and hardly ever eat either, I always go for potatoes, so I'm affraid I don't know the answer to that other than people keep saying "just stick to the plan and it will come off".
Will let you know what happens next WD on March 1st , good luck all

I think that's the point, if you are happy there is no need to loose anymore. You are at a healthy weight and you are happy and well, so why do anything different0 -

Hi JJ - I'll give you the same advice that I was given last night when I said that I'm going to an Italian restaurant this evening. Eat salad for starter (do they still do all-you-can-eat salad bars in Pizza Hut?) and choose pasta with a tomato-based sauce for main course - asking them to bring the sauce separate to the pasta so that you can control how much goes on the pasta. Stay away from pizza and bread!Mediterranean Mum

Still eating breakfast at 10.45 as I got interrupted in the middle - the longest breakfast in history but at least it'll keep me going until lunch and then hopefully it'll be a late lunch so I can worry less about this evening.

Thanks for that, I don't like sweetcorn, baked beans or tomatoes :rotfl:but am sure all mixed in together it will be lovely, is this free on EE if counting cheese as HEA as there will be more that one portion?
Todays plan
B - Berries & FF Onken
L - Wholemeal Pitta, (HEB) 1/2 can tuna, e.l. mayo (1/2 syn), lettuce, cucumber, pepper, egg, beetroot, apple, kiwi, plum
