that's why I always thought they were not SF - which they weren't - wonder why they changed it - not that I'm complaining but you're right I have to be careful now not to go overboard with them.
They haven't changed it, they have always been super free, theyre just not super speed.

  • OK so I'm getting confused again. Explain the difference to me please (again!) I'm obviously thinking that SF and SS are the same thing - wrong?

SF and SS are not the same. Anything free on both plans ( fruit and veg wise) is SF. Then you have your foods which are thought to accelerate weight loss, they are SS.

Hope that makes sense, not sure I've explained it very well!

Like peas and sweetcorn are only free on green so aren't super free as the are synned on the red plan. Same as potatoes.

  • Back to the restaurant issue - I went into the website and I believe this is what the best choices are for me -

    Starter
Antipasti - Variety of roasted vegetables with herbs

    Salad
Toscana Salad - Sweet potato, sprouts, cherry tomatoes and sunflower seeds served with tehini

    Pasta
Pasta Varieties - Spaghetti, Fettuccini, Penne

    Sauces
    Napolitana - Tomato sauce
Fantasia - Tomato, pepper and eggplant

    Fish
    Fish dishes served with vegetables
Salmon - Baked with herbs served with teriyaki sauce
St. Peter's Fish Fillet - Baked with herbs
Salmon Skewers - Grilled with soy sauce

So I'm thinking the antipasti and the salmon skewers are the safest bets although the baked salmon sounds nice - just a little concerned about the teriyaki sauce.

Everything else on the menu (not listed here) sounds absolutely devine but totally synful!!

Yes it makes sense but will make a lot more sense once I've been to a group in two weeks and got all the info sheets - that's going to make such a difference to me. Thanks for taking the time to explain.

    Hi All

Quick post from work as per usual, not had a chance to catch up yet, busy with month end stuff

    Today’s Menu

L - Wholemeal pitta (6 syns) with tuna CRUNCH (forgot my lettuce so had pepper, beetroot n cucumber), apple, plum & kiwi
D - 2 x WW Premium pork sausages (1 syn), SW roasties, broccoli, sprouts. 375ml Skimmed milk (HEA)
S - FF yoghurt, banana, grapes (grazing throughout the day)

Good luck for those who have lost or have weigh ins today.

  • i might be thinking of another one then - there is a very controlled plan you get from your leader - you have to weigh and count everything and you can't just snack on free foods...

But you don't do it for longer than a week - and everyone who's done it at our group has paoted big losses...

Can anyone remember the name of it?

I haven't finished reading through yet so someone else may have answered, but is it Fast Forward?

  • I've only ever done EE so can someone tell me if this would be a Green day which then covers the two HEAs that I've had - I made the Mexican Bake last night and there was tons left over which is what I've been eating all day - love it!

    Wednesday 1 February 2012
    S-banana
    B-L/O Mexican Bake (HEA)
    L-Mexican Bake (HEA)
    S-banana, persimmon; 2 slices w/m bread, 2 hard-boiled eggs, 1 tblspn light mayo (HEB) , 2 syns
D-Leek & Potato Soup; Noodles with stir-fried cabbage, mangetout, green beans

  • Hi all

Welcome newbies and good luck. Congratulations on the pregnancy Sarah?

Wi this morning and I really don't know how but have lost 2.5 really don't deserve it but it has a least given me the kick start I need to get back on track.

Our consultant was saying that if a food product is used in a way in which it wasn't designed for it has to be synned, so the smash scones and couscous cake etc are not free, anyone else ever heard of this?

Well done on all the losses and hugs to those who need them.
    X

Ps apologies for any typos or spelling mistakes I'm on my iphone and my thumbs are too fat for the silly touch screen keys!
