:A thanks. i knew i would go wrong somewhere
just doing it the 3 days, EE Today, Green Tomorrow, Success Express on Friday, EE on Sat, Success Express on Sunday (thought this might be easy enough, good sunday dinner with plenty of veg!)
weigh in monday... god...the week just flies round sometimes!!0 -
alms, I don't eat much fruit either. First, I'd say that if I have three good meals a day I don't need much to just grab in the way of snacks. If I feel peckish at home I'd graze on cooked meat or pickled beetroot or pickled onions. If I'm really hungry late at night I'll ping a quick jacket and have cottage cheese or beans with it. If it's things to take to work your sister needs then she'll have to do a bit of planning and preparation. Depending on facilities she can have soup or jackets or (my favourite) a big tub of pasta salad.
I'm on plan today, EE as usual:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, fried egg, mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes (synned sauce)
L: ? dependsSW turkey curry (inc. peppers, onions and mushrooms) and rice

you're welcome
i remember at my old group we got told not to have loads and loads of them because they are higher in calories than other fruit.0 -
that's why I always thought they were not SF - which they weren't - wonder why they changed it - not that I'm complaining but you're right I have to be careful now not to go overboard with them.Mediterranean Mum

I need some planning help please. I've had a 100% perfect week so far but my DH is coming back from an overseas trip tomorrow evening and we're going to an Italian restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I need some suggestions as to how to get through this meal without jeopardizing all my hard work this week - I really want to drop the 4lb that I put on this week.
thanksMediterranean Mum

Hi Guns, Frogga.. welcome.
Laura - there's no problem splitting the alpen lights, i sometimes have one with my morning cuppa and one with my afternoon cuppa in leiu of biccies.. as for houmous - not sure as can't stand the stuff:D
Med mum - do you have chance to see a menu first or do you know what sort of food they do so that you can plan what you're having before you go? Get someone else at the table to order for you so that you don't accidently say "pizza please" when they come to your turn?
A salad for starter and tomato sauced pasta for main shouldn't be too bad and will be your 1/3rd SF. Or do they do a nice plain steak and salad?
Main tip - stay away from the bread  something that i know is a big issue for me!!
Right today - green again
B - apple, yogurt, weetabix 2
L - lo pasta bake Hea
T - chicken risotto - HEb (4)
S - crisps(4) satsuma, nectarine, milk in tea (hea) possbly ryvita (Heb)Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

I'll look it up on the internet and see if I can see their menu. I'm not particularly a pizza fan and would never order it in a restaurant so that's not the problem. Pasta is definitely a problem though and I hear what you say about the tomato-based sauce. I don't think they serve any kind of meat but they might have fish and if so then I'll order salmon which is always a favourite when I go out to eat - thanks for helping me think about this.
And yes, the bread is a definite no-no - I'll get DH to tell them not to bring any to the table - that was definitely my downfall last week - I ate far too much of it!Mediterranean Mum

Don't forget to order any sauce on the side so you can judge how synful it is... the bread nad the pudding would be my downfall0

Good idea Sarah - I'll ask them to do that. I don't ever order dessert anyway so that's also not an issue - just the bread!!!Mediterranean Mum
