Heading for winter with Slimming World

Hello
I haven't posted on MSE for a while but I do recognise quite a few names on here
I started Slimming World last May. I gave up going to the group in September because the ladies there were not really my cup of tea, and it was all going well so I thought I didn't need to pay to go to group when I knew what I was doing? I don't regret that decision as all has been going well still and I prefere it this way, I'm not struggling with motivation.
I started off at 20st 2lb and I am now 14st 4lb. I am actually very pleased with that, even though the rate has slowed down considerably I'm happy with where I am at the mo as I feel so much happier and even though I'm 14st something I'm in a size 14 so I think I look nice (ish).
Now for the problem ~ I know the weight loss will slow down BUT ~ In the last month I've not lost a thing.
I'm trying hard not to get too fed up but I have lots of questions as to why? I'm veggie so always do a green day. I NEVER cheat. I count and weigh everything that I need to (like cereal and cheese). I always have 2 A's and 2 B's and no more. I feel that the SW way of eating as much unlimited food as I like can't possibly be true for me?
I eat LOADS of free food. Maybe I eat more than you are allowed? But Free Food is unlimited? I eat LOADS of fruit. Prob 4 apples, 4 oranges, 2 bananas, 2 kiwi, HUGE plate of veg every meal, LOADS of baked beans (sometimes 2 tins a day) often breakfast and dinner. Lots of pots, either jacket or SW chips. I also eat LOADS of FF yog (activia, Onken or shape) and make sure it is fat free. Sometimes I have 4 ff yogs in a day but it's supposed to be unlimited?
I'd just like advice from those in the know as I no longer go to group as I said so I can't ask anyone. I realise that weight loss slows down, there are monthly blips, you can't lose every week etc. but I haven't lost a thing in a month. Am I eating too much? Is it really unlimited? Sometimes I eat 2 pots of fresh pineapple a day, is that too much? Would love to know where I'm going wrong if any of you have the time to offer an opinion? I know I'm a greedy pig, but unlimited is unlimited? Or is it??
Have to go off to work so wont be able to reply again til after 4 but I'll be back online then if anyone needs me to clarify anything. To give a quick re~cap ~ I stick to the rules, but I'm no longer losing, is it all too good to be true?

One of my mates at S/W made it to target last night - after a long hard slog - in her final week she reduced her HEB from 2 to 1 - and it did make a difference!
I also eat a lot of free fruit - I can rival you on consumption and there are several others on here who do it too - likewise with the FF yoghurt! After 18 months I am down from 17 stone 9.5 to 12 stone 6!
Advice given to people at group who are struggling is normally to vary it a bit - do you always eat the same stuff? Try something different - there is a link to the recipe thread in the first or second post of this thread. You can get good ideas from the magazine as well and plenty of us here do go to group - if you want to know the syn value of something ask us - one of us will do it for you!
People who are struggling sometimes try an accelerator programme - I think it's called success express but i might be wrong. You can only get it from your consultant - but someone on here might pm it to you - there is an awful lot of counting to be done, but you don't have to do it every day... might be worth a try?
i lost .5lb last night at WI - I'm dead chuffed - a look at the calendar tells me * is overdue - it's no wonder i'm uncomfy and bloated - I told the weigh in lady I should do better next week provided I haven't killed someone!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

yes it is Success Express, it used to be given out to every member, i still have my old booklet.
for those that don't know what it is:- three meals per day. each meal must be 2/3 SF with 1/3 free food on G or R or both together.
- one or two HEA and two B from either the G or R lists.
- snack on SF food, eggs, low fat dairy or HE.
- 5-15 syns a day BUT every snack that isn't SF or HE is a syn.
- starters/desserts must be SF or they are syned.
- second helpings at dinner must be 2/3 SF and 1/3 free.
there is also Mix to Max too:- three meals a day and choose G or R for that individual meal, focussing on the free food from that plan. (e.g. G breakfast, R dinner, G tea)
- 3 or 4 HE per day from either the G or R list
- snacks, starters or deserts must be SF or syned
- 5-15 syns per day

i did success express yesterday, there was a lot of fruit n veg on the menu for me yesterday
i am going to do it 3 days this week, and hope for a loss next week, so i will do it again on friday, and sunday
i had to remember when i for example had a yoghurt yest., to have 2 bits of fruit with it,
it was great in a way, with the 2 HE's because last night i had a Hi Fi bar and a cup of hot chocolate for supper and the Hi Fi was a HE, so just 2 syns, so i finished the day on 5 syns
tho i have found before that cutting back on the syns never give me a better loss on the scales, tho im hoping that it all adds up for me this week0 -
i might be thinking of another one then - there is a very controlled plan you get from your leader - you have to weigh and count everything and you can't just snack on free foods...
But you don't do it for longer than a week - and everyone who's done it at our group has paoted big losses...
Can anyone remember the name of it?:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

i think i know what you mean, one woman in our group did it when she got desperate. she said it was hell on earth and she was starving all week.
I cant remember the name and after her review of it none of us ever did it again!0 -

the consultant did give me the leaflet and it was called success express
i bet you i dont loose anything this week either...
she did say not to do it every day....we decided on 3 days...
what have i done!?
wait...found it in my bag
yeah, success express...
1. Focus on free food
enjoy 3 meals per day, follow the 2-to-1 plate princilae, one third free food, 2 thirds super free
2. choose your healthly extras
choose once or twice from the A list, twice from the B list
3. Snack on superfree foods
4. enjoy 5 / 15 syns
count the higher syn value where they differ
think i did it ok then, snacks were apples and bananas and grapes and strawberrys!!0 -
Morning all.
OK here's today for me-
B-Berries, 0% total, 1tsp agave syrup (0.5)
L-Big bowl of HM leek and potato soup.
S-May attempt the half syn cake since I'm home today and know snack fingers are going to want to wander!
Tea- HM stuffed butternut squash- will use 1 HEA + 1 HEB on cheeses, and 1 HEB on a teaspoon of EV olive oil. The rest of it is free.
I'm trying to stay mainly syn free today, as may end up of having a glass of wine tonight since me and OH both off work.
Frogga, I'm veggie too, I'm starting my SW plan at 14st 3lbs, and my worry is 'free' carbs, I love love love pasta and rice-what are your thoughts on how these have affected your weight loss so far?
Thank you everyone for your help on cereal bars. I do like alpen lights so to be able to have 2 for HEB is brill. I presume theres no problem splitting them during the day? My friend said houmous is a HEB, but wasnt sure which type or how much. Does anyone know?
Hope everyone has a great day!0 -

Only comment I have to make Piglet is that bananas are not SF so you probably shouldn't be eating them as snacks this week.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
