Afternoon all,
Have been missing a few days as i've been poorly with a bad cold
I see there are lots of people struggling, i can hold my hand up too. I've been terrible this week because of feeling so sorry for my poorly self..
But tomorrow is a new, fresh day and we can all pull our socks up and rise to this challenge.. think positive and don't let food get the better of us. If we can manage a day on plan tomorrow, then we can manage the next day, and the next day, and before you know it it's been a week of healthy eating! :j:j
So with this in mind...
What is everyone going to do plan to do this week to keep them on track??
i'm planning all my meals today, as i have a very busy work week coming up, I can't then use coming home late as an excuse to go and get a takeaway..
I'm also challenging myself to lose 10lbs in 6 weeks as this is my birthday. It will also get me to 13stone 7.. this will be my first target!!
We can do this ladies!!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
I think I'm going to have gained this week, been out for dinner twice (although chose wisely and only had 2 cocktails and a glass of wine overall) and been snacking on bits of chocolate all day today (haven't gone over 15 syns though). Main problem is I had a 19 syn Gu pudding yesterday! Argh. Never mind.
Attempted level 2 of Shred today - far too hard. Back to level 1 tomorrow!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.0 -
lilian - at least you're doing the shred - mine is still sat next to the dvd player.....not been brave enough yet :rotfl:
shala_moo, get well soon! hoping you reach your goal to have a fab birthday...
cloverfan - like the others have said think i'll show him, and use that anger as your motivation.....
mm - that sounds like fun - not! in the summer it must be lovely to have a cool retreat......perhaps a hot water bottle is needed LOL
today i have eaten:
b: soup (heb) toast (heb)
l: batchelors pasta N sauce - tum feels ok so far
d: inside of mashed potato with laughing cow light mashed in (hea)
milk for tea (hea) crisps (5.5)
tomorrow is another day - i am going to aerotone in the morning, then at lunchtime into hospital for a minor gynae op.......so i have no idea how well i will be after it or what i will eat - sometimes you have to have toast or a sandwich before they let you home.....i'll keep my 2 heb for that in case.
WI in the evening if i feel ok - i am sure i have put on weight - a week of green for me, and i never eat this much potato or noodles usually. i'ave also had more syns than normal eating crisps and chocolate. it is also * week and i think it makes a difference looking back through my WI's.

I decided that as the week had gone awry, I would have my fajitas tonight (with naughty extras) rather than next week when I shall make a sw curry instead (unless we go out). (Its our anniversary
)
I wasn't feeling the love for sw this morning (in fact I wasn't feeling the love for anything!) but I am feeling a tiny bit more positive this evening as I have blueberries and grapes in the fridge which I can munch on tomorrow, I have taken a beef and veg chilli out to defrost for tea and I have prepped lots of salad stuff which I can take for my lunch :T
I have also ordered the Clean and lean cookbooks which were advertised in the you mag today (not a mention of syns anywhere!) - but perhaps something different will inspire me.
Hope everyone is having a lovely evening.0 -
For first time this year I have planned dinners for the whole week and went shopping today for all the ingredients so hopefully that will keep me on plan.0

Thank you for the encouragement. I think I have had a bad day today which is frustrating as I have been working hard at SW.
Time to fess up ......
Breakfast - porridge, berries 0% yoghurt (ok)
snacks- a whole pineapple (in a day!), a banana, a mullerlight
Lunch - homemade lentil soup, an apple and ... a whole packet i.e. 1 pint of sugar free jelly
Dinner: (not at my own house, so had to go with what was offered) smallish portion spag bol, slice white bread and butter and an apple
Please someone slap me on the wrist and tell me to get a grip.
Must do better tomorrow :A
Overall though still liking the diet and my trousers are getting loser. I have exercised over the weekend. I had a 30 min swim on Friday evening and an hour's walk in the hills plus a short jog this afternoon.0 -
Saidan - good luck for tomorrow - I'll be thinking of you {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}
Prudent - don't know why you're beating yourself up - your day hasn't been that bad - you're doing great and you're exercising.
At this rate you'll be the only one losing this week! Seems something's in the air for all of us this week so let's put it all behind us and get back with it.
I've had a great day today although the only exercise I did was running backwards and forwards between my computer and the TV to watch the Australian Tennis final!
Today I had -
Sunday 29 January 2012
B-2 slices w/m toast, 2 hard-boiled eggs, banana
S-persimmon
L-noodles, stir-fried veg; orange
D-Chickpea & Veg Soup
S-cut up veggies, roasted cauliflower, tuna dip (tuna, ½% white cheese, passata, seasoning, spring onions, mustard); persimmon, banana
Tomorrow morning is WI and I'm ready for a huge increase but hoping not to let it get me down and just get on with things. Nothing planned for this week except for a meal out with DH on his return on Thursday night from him business trip.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -

Done an online shop to arrive tomorrow, so i have no excuses.Thank you for the encouragement. I think I have had a bad day today which is frustrating as I have been working hard at SW.

Prudent - your meals weren't horrendous and the amount of SF was fantastic. I'm sure they won't have put you too far off track!
