Have struggled this week and feel frustrated.
I know where I am going wrong, I just wish the magic fix was easier.
I wrote out a meal plan at the beginning of my sw week but I haven't stuck to it! I need to get myself in check and re-evaluate.
Not sure why as much as I want to get slim, I self sabotage and ruin best laid plans ?
I completely understand where you are coming from, this seems to be a re-occuring problem for most of us!I'm on my first day of a new week and already I've blipped!!!!
Hope you can get back on plan and draw a line under what has already passed.
Big hugs ((((((hugs))))) and some magic dust (sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle), just in case it helps

Hope everyone has a good weekend
It is sooo funny that there are so many posts on here I can really relate to and I could have written myself!
Yours is one of them, I keep losing between 1.5 - 2stone and sticking, I managed to break through the 2 stone barrier a couple of weeks ago but last week I went on a very emotional rollercoaster and usually that is my trigger point to give up and think oh well....but I've found this thread so supportive and informative and forgiving (when I need to rant), that I really am determined to try and keep going!
Hope you manage to get back on track and enjoy losing weight.... (((((((((hugs)))))))) :A

hi all
so i am not hungry - but want to eat.
i have just used my heb's for the day giving in to my toast craving, used my syns on choccie - and now made a huge cup of tea.
SW say to eat when hungry until you are full - and use superfree.
so this is the truth about why i am fat - i would normally now sit in bed with laptop and a big choccie bar, or bag of crisps, or toast ETC
my diet is sooooooo boring due to my health problems
soup, mash, pasta noodles, white bread. chocolate/crisps.
i had chips last night when we went out and my tum has been sore all day - so no more naughties for me - just not worth it.
i am so frustrated! am desperate not to reach to the kitchen cupboards.
anyone else have this want to eat problem?

Constantly fighting the urge to eat when I'm not hungry.....grrrrr!
I try to do something else...walk the dog....tidy up...come on the laptop....chew gum....my list goes onbut sadly doesn't work very well!
I watched a really interesting programme the other night called 10 Things You Need to Know About Losing Weight where they investigated the latest scientific breakthroughs in slimming. It was about 10 of the simplest ways to lose weight!
It had some good points one about soup and how it stays in your tummy for longer hence keeping you fuller for longer - I'm going to give it a try - (hopefully may help me to stop the need to eat feeling) and it also mentioned about calcium being able to bind to the fat molecules of the food in your stomach and carrying them through and out in your poo:rotfl:! So I'm going to try and up my calcium intake too....just in case!
Not actually sure how I'm going to stop my need to eat urges....but I can try!

I think it's not so much hunger, because you don't ever have to be hungry on SW, but a craving to eat - the nearest equivalent I can think of is it's like craving for a ciggy when you are trying to give up. I think that's far more difficult to resist than genuine hunger.Oh dear, here we go again.0

Hello! I am new, have been lurking around on here since early January when I started SW. I am doing EE and have 1 st 10lb to lose. I haven't been weighed yet as hubby's shifts meant I couldn't get to group, but I'll be going this Monday coming for my first weigh in.
Anyway, we have a question about Muller Lights. Hubby likes the Actimel yog drins which work out at 1.5 syns. He looked at ingredients and said that Muller Lights were worse so why are they free? We put a Muller Light (toffee) through the syn calculator and it came out at 4.5 syns...can anyone explain?
He thinks it's just a marketing ploy - SW are sponsored by Muller in some way? I was planning to ask at group, but the more experienced of you might have come across this before.
Good luck to you all and your fantastic losses so far!0 -

I have the 'want to eat' problem, especially in the evenings. Luckily I don't like milk, so I save my A & B up, and have PHL light cheese on ryvita in the evening, and something like SW choc mousse at just 1 syn.
I'm finding although I eat as much as I did before SW the food isn't so filling. After eating a meal with so much veg in it, im hungry 2-3 hours later. I miss bread for lunch.0 -

Yes and I gave inEdit: I'm still giving in. Every voice in my head is telling me not to do it yet the hand is still delivering food to the mouth. I didn't even enjoy it as I felt so guilty. Now undoubtedly will fall into the self-hating cycle. Must get back on the plan right away.
I can sympathise with your boring diet believe meCan you eat meat, fish and dairy products? perhaps we should share meal ideas more often? The Boring Brigade
