Well done everyone on all the losses. Went to Tesco today to stock up on some SW friendly things. Walked down the cheese aisle 4 times looking for Quark. The lady sorting out the stock did give me a strange look when I said in a loud voice "There you are!" to the Quark. I'm off to make some SW free (I think) cheese scones :)

:T that's fantastic mm, I'm so pleased for you. Your menus always look more like success express to me with so much f&v. But remember you can have chips on SW, or roasties, or mash, or....;)

Agree with what said about the soup but it would have been within syns even with some cream/oil/butter in it.

    Prudent, I'd say three things:
    • I don't think you're eating enough
    • you really should have some syns planned in
    • you need lots more superfree (none at all with dinner)
Don't worry, it takes a bit of getting used to to start to but stick with it!!

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS squash, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: vegetable soup and maybe a sandwich
D: beef stir-fry with mountain of veg

Many thanks for the help. This dinner was the exception. I love veg, so usually take advantage of the superfree in a big way.

Today is a more typical day:

B: porridge, berries and 0% greek yoghurt
    s: water melon
l: lentil soup (all free or superfree ingredients), ham salad (lettuce, cress, peppers, tomato, beetroot, cucmber
    D. 2 slices lean cold beef, broccoli, carrots, small baked potato
raspberries with 2 tablespoons of fat free natural yoghurt.

Hoping that is a bit better. Yesterday was a bit of a strange day. I had a migraine and toothache and didn't feel like cooking much.

Please can anyone tell me how to use the Syns Online tool? Whatever I put in it seems to come up with no matches. I must be doing something wrong, it can't really be that rubbish!

ETA I did get one result - when I searched yoghurt I got Duchy Originals but that's all!
Oh dear, here we go again.

I put on 1/2lbs. First week and I failed miserably. My own fault, not the eating plans. Need to try harder.

At times, yes it really can be that rubbish! When I can't find what I'm looking for (eg Tesco Breaded Scampi) I'll redo my search without refining it to a specific manufacturer and quite often among the results you'll get "Basic, Scampi, in breadcrumbs, deep fried, 100g" with the syns for each plan. Hope this helps!

Hi again, I lost 1lb last week. I'm struggling to get lots of superfree into my diet though, not really a big fruit fan and no-one else in my house eats veg! So I find myself eating peas and carrots. If anyone has any idea how I can eat more superfree through the day, please let me know x

Thanks teecee46. I'll try again being a bit more general.

ETA Well, I searched yoghurt using the average everyday foods and guess what came up? No matches. I think I'll give up and buy the book! (Ah, maybe that's their evil plan....)
Oh dear, here we go again.

B - Shredded wheat (HEB) with sliced banana & FF plain yoghurt
L - 2 slices of 400g WM loaf (3 syns?) & 200g tin Heinz Ravioli (1 syn) followed by muller light - I know, no superfree, must try harder!
