kandfs_mam wrote: »No SW class for me today due to having to work so weighed myself at home on Wii fit and I've lost 1lb. At first I was a bit disappointed but then I though back and realised I was away on a business trip for 3 days with very little control over what I ate (made the best choices I could but still ave no idea how it was cooked) and then had my wine fest on Saturday night too. So that coupled with very little exercise this week means 1lb off isn't so bad at all. Onwards and upwards for this next week!
I think you should be really pleased with yourself - business trips are a killer in every sense but to come back and lose weight is a real achievement - well done you :Thave ordered the 30 day shred
What is this - explain please!:T that's fantastic mm, I'm so pleased for you. Your menus always look more like success express to me with so much f&v. But remember you can have chips on SW, or roasties, or mash, or....;)
I know I can. I've found though that having potatoes doesn't help me. I ate them on Friday night and all it does is makes me want more! I've also found that I can only eat carbs for dinner every other day - every day is too much. It's amazing how we come to read our bodies - it's only taken 45+ years to learn how to do that! The biggest thing I've had to give up is the avocado - I love them but they obviously don't love me and I seem to find it impossible to have just 1/4 or even 1/2 sor for now I'm cutting them out.Mediterranean Mum

morning all
well done on the weight loss med mum and kfsmum.
i have been ill all weekend and although i have now stopped being sick, i really dont fancy eating fruit and veg, currently dry toast is about my limit, so have really messed up this week! Although i have managed to do 21hours worth of walking this week delivering leaflets and pushing toddler in her buggy so hopefully i will at least sts.
Also thanks for the biscuit recipe FC, i didnt get back round to making it due to being ill at the weekend, but for future does anyone know where i can get the splenda brown sugar as i have never heard of it before, but have now seen it be mentioned in a few recipes.
Take care all

Lost 2.5lbs at this mornings weigh in, so happy with that after only 1/2 lb last week.
6 1/2 lbs to target.
But seem to always be shopping! Have done more green days to try and keep the costs down, but have loads of potatos, beans, eggs , if ihave SW chips, beans and egg every night will I still lose?
Thanks0 -
hi all
MM - i am dreading the 30 day shred but figured i can always sit there and watch :rotfl: did you want the last 2 months SW mags with a recipe brochure in? i'm happy to mail them to you if you want. i doubt you can get them where you are, and thought about you today when looking through the recipes as i'll never try them. PM me .......
applepad well done on the loss :T
i wouldn't do green every day cos with pasta/potato etc i would put weight on if i don't do small portions - but loads of vegi's follow it and loose. try it and see
red days can be cheap too - using tinned fish is quite cheap

Great loss Applepad - I know exactly what you mean about shopping - I seem to be there every other day!
They say you should try to vary your eating because it could affect the weight loss if you eat the same thing every day.hi all

You are so sweet Saidan. I actually have a subscription to the mag which I took out when I was an online member - I got it at a good price considering they have to mail it overseas. I'm not sure how many more are on my subscription but thanks for thinking of me - so considerate of you. I've actually made quite a few things from from the Nov issue and the Jan one.Mediterranean Mum
