    hi all

all the cooking MM is doing is making me feel hungry LOL

evilsquid how did the recruitment go?
i went to one a few years ago, but decided it wasn't for me - dh was with me and was a bit  at a few things that were said - also SW require a lot of money up front to become a consultant......

i'm doing okay - hungry and bored with calorie drinks......so today have tried a few things to see how my tum does.
b: ww yoghurt & hartleys jelly
    l: cup a soup
d: diced chicken pieces in soft fried noodles
so far so good - bit sore but nothing major :T

i feel a bit wierd about going to WI tomorrow as not following SW at the mo- but i'm paid up so figured i might as well go. it will be interesting to see what loss i have as i've not gone over 800 calories any day (they state them on my special drink cartons etc and i keep a note for the dietician of how many i can manage). i hope its 3lbs at least given how hungry i have been this week!

ammonite - clean slate again - and back on SW plan.

rummer - curly wurly's are the best bet....6 syns for the big one :) keeps the need for more sugar away for a while too.....

    keep loosing everyone

    Boo to shop bought oranges!

My tea is just cooking - I see you have had yours - how many hours ahead are you ?

Why do you dread weigh in so much ???
  • We're two hours ahead of UK time - just about to get on the dreadmill for another 20 mins - already did 20 mins earlier today.

Why do I dread WI - I think probably dreading that I'll not lose (obviously) and that if I don't lose I'll think to myself "what the hell, why should I do this". I've had a great loss in a total of 4 weeks but it was all in one week - the other weeks I've gained, STS and lost what I gained so I now want to lose more!! I've worked hard this week - increased the exercise and eaten lots of SF food so hoping that it'll have paid off.

    Watch this space...

it went well thanks! i think I'm going to go for it. I've got the money available and the time to do it properly so I'm gna try it. id only think "what if?" if i didn't! plus if i do by some miracle find a "proper" job then i can carry it all on so its not like the money would be completely wasted.

I have literally logged on to say that I have fallen spectacurlaly from the wagon. That potential non-loss of -4.5lb really upset me and I just lost every good intention I had. I'm struggling to get it back and feel myself falling into a familiar old cycle. Fall off wagon >> Eat lots >> Feel terrible about falling >> be even more unhappy about being overweight.

How to break this cycle. I'm currently at "Must step away from the biscuits"

I think I need to do a Tesco shop. Hardly have an SW food in. That's what I'll do..it'll keep me out of the kitchen too. Oh will I ever get out of this cycle?!

What a whinge bag I am! :( Sorry lol!

i used to do that all of the time. i think the challenge is to recognise mid way through that, yes I've had too many syns but i can stop now and get back on SW and I've only had a small detour.

chocolate and cake only makes you feel good while you get the first hit of sugar. after that, your blood sugar dives again and you feel worse than you did before and your brain wants more and more to feel good again.

our group have been saying if you get a craving or want to snack, paint your nails. it will take your mind off it and you won't want to be digging in packets with nails you can smudge!

Big, big apologies for not posting much this week. I just seem to be drowning under my 'to do' list.

    The positives though are:

    1) I went to first sw class
    2) Loving the diet
    3) Getting back to the habit of a weekly swim
    4) trousers getting loser.

Thank you so much everyone for all the inspiration.

    Quick question please:

I had lunch out today. The best option looked like butternut squash and chickpea soup. The waitresses were really busy so I didn't like to ask about ingredients. How do I syn unknown meals?

    Other than that I ate:

B: porridge, berries, dessert spoon 0% greek yoghurt
    s. a plum
    d. 2 slices lean ham, 1/3 tin baked beans and a tablespoon of left over mashed potato.

    Does this sound ok?
