Yay well done med mum :j:j that is a great loss and shoes that if you stick with it the losses will happen. Well done
  • You know previously I would have been so disheartened about the previous 3 weeks and would have given it up and I really understand why so many people lose hope. I'm trying to tell myself that this is it now and this is the way I'm going to eat for the rest of my life. My DH has also lost 2kg this week and that's really just from the adjustments I've made to the way we eat in the evening. A few weeks ago I was opening the freezer and taking out pre-packaged foods and making chips (albeit frozen ones) to go with it but there was no cooking going on in my house except for at the weekend. My kids also seem to be enjoying what I'm cooking so if it's only that we'll all be healthier then this is the way it should be.

Thanks everyone as usual for the wonderful support here because this is a big part of where I am right now - love you all xxxx

    OUCH!

30 Day Shred, day 3. Hell. It had better show results!

EDIT - thanks for the tip about the Cadbury Light Mousse, OH has some choc ice cream in the freezer but feels guilty about eating it when I'm there, now we can both have some! Think I'll try the sugar free jelly too x

No SW class for me today due to having to work so weighed myself at home on Wii fit and I've lost 1lb. At first I was a bit disappointed but then I though back and realised I was away on a business trip for 3 days with very little control over what I ate (made the best choices I could but still ave no idea how it was cooked) and then had my wine fest on Saturday night too. So that coupled with very little exercise this week means 1lb off isn't so bad at all. Onwards and upwards for this next week!

    well done MM :T
just from your menu's you can see how great your diet is - all the fresh fruits and vegetables that make up the majority of your meals - and isn't it great to know your helping your whole family and giving your kids the food their bodies need :)

kmam - well done on your 1lb loss :T a loss every week is better than big losses then gains.....

WI for me tonight - i know i've lost weight but i'm still nervous
on week 3 for my silver award - am enjoying the gym to my surprise! and have ordered the 30 day shred  i've also starting swimming when my boys have their lesson on sunday afternoon so that's another 30 mins a week :)

    today i am aiming for:
b: ww yoghurt and scrambled egg (we will see how tum is with eggs then)
    l: cup a soup / or a calorie drink
d: cup a soup in SW class / or a calorie drink

    good day everyone!

  • I had lousy sw day yesterday!! Had to go to my mum's to do my washing as my machine packed up and ended up staying for tea which was toad in the hole with mash  Don't know how many syns in a toad so not going to look :rotfl: !!

Day off today so going to not be a lazy slob and watch this morning! Going to stick my David Garret cd on (lots of SINS there, yum!! :p) and sort my room out! It looks like my wardrobes have exploded!

Bought a fab pink cupcake magnetic/chalkboard reduced to £1 so it's going to be my sw board! Can write my weeks meal plan on it and stick recipes etc I've cut out! By the end of today I WILL BE ORGANISED :D

Right, sofa is trying to hold me captive but I must resist! Have a good day folks!!

:T that's fantastic mm, I'm so pleased for you. Your menus always look more like success express to me with so much f&v. But remember you can have chips on SW, or roasties, or mash, or....;)

B: porridge, berries, dessert spoon 0% greek yoghurt
    s. a plum
    d. 2 slices lean ham, 1/3 tin baked beans and a tablespoon of left over mashed potato.

    Does this sound ok?

Agree with what said about the soup but it would have been within syns even with some cream/oil/butter in it.

    Prudent, I'd say three things:
    • I don't think you're eating enough
    • you really should have some syns planned in
    • you need lots more superfree (none at all with dinner)
Don't worry, it takes a bit of getting used to to start to but stick with it!!

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS squash, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: vegetable soup and maybe a sandwich
D: beef stir-fry with mountain of veg
