Hello fannyannie (and everyone else of course!)

I took 10 weeks to lose my last half a stone. Personally I just hung on in there but two things that my consultant suggests to people in the same position: One is just checking that you haven't got into a rut and keep eating the same meals, apparently variety can help. The other is Success Express which is effectively two-thirds SFs and some extra HBs (details should be on website but I could look them out). Why not do as mm suggests and post your food diary on here just in case we notice anything?? Good Luck.

I'm still busy socialising and having a flexi-meal a day. Tomorrow I'll be back more on plan (promise).

    My EE day:
B: NAS squash, HEB porage with HEA milk, banana
    L: plate of stir-fry veg
D: out at the pub so probably syn laden:o

Have a lovely evening with your family mm, the cake reminds me of the legere pizzas they do in Pizza Express with a hole filled with salad in the middle! Enjoy the chopped fruit!!!

I was really disappointed with that pizza when I had one - I suspect your cake will be a lot nicer mm!

Great replacement for that evening biscuit with a cup of tea.

Can anybody help me, i'm desperate!! I have been doing sw for 6 months and have lost 2 stone but now i'm stuck at that. I have been for 3 months now, i cannot lose anymore no matter how hard i try. I'm doing everything right, filling in a food diary every day (online).

I walk 4 miles most days, and do the odd stint on wii fit and just dance.

so far i have tried switching to just green days instead of ee an also mixing green red and ee but thats not worked. I did put on 5 pound over xmas but lost that again no probs and now i'm back at 13st5 which is the weight i have been stuck at.

I'm at my wits end and really feel like giving up! I did go to class for a while when i first started but then got a new job and couldnt go anymore so joined online, do you think somehow thats my problem?

    Thanks for any help :D

do you actually need to loose anymore? your body might be resisting it because you aren't supposed to go any further. when i got near target it was hell for me to get down to it.

other than that, are you loosing inches and just not weight?
  • Well done, bet you feel fantastic :j:j, can't wait to join you...

...forgot about the club 10 award - I only have 2lb to go for mine!

    FC xx

I do feel fantastic - just hoping to drop a dress size by the time nicer weather arrives.

Good Luck with getting your Club 10 at your next weigh in x

Really chuffed with myself as had a 1.5lb loss this week which got me my club 10 award and my 1.5 stone award. I also now have a BMI of under 30 so I am no longer classed as obese.

    well done you :A

i think i am around 7lbs off being "obese":o and moving into overweight!! hope to see that by time feb is out

I am hoping to lose another 7lbs by the end of Feb too. I never have great weight losses but I always lose. Even my consultant says I am slow and steady. I even lost 0.5lb Xmas week.

Good Luck with your next goal. x
  • Todays Food Diary

    B - Pineapple
L - Ham Salad Roll (2 syns for the low fat spread)
S - Orange Apple Banana Grapes & Alpen Light Bar (3syns)
    D - Gammon & Eggs

I will probably have an Options before bed too.
  • Hi Fannyannie,

Make sure you weigh/measure your HEA/HEB.

Make sure you have at least 5 syns a day.

Make sure you are getting a 1/3 superfree through out the day.

I have heard people in group say that if they eat lots of bananas or grapes that this can slow down their weight loss.

Try having superspeed soup. This is basically a soup made from a pile of superspeed veg. It is actually quite nice. Don't have the recipe to hand but I am sure I could dig it out from somewhere.

Finally because you are doing a lot of exercise you should measure yourself. This was the best piece of advice anyone ever gave me. So your body is in better shape but it is not showing on the scales.

Just today I was reading a an article about a rugby player who gained weight but doctors now say he is fitter than he was before and the his body fat % has not changed.

    hope this helps.

I don't like biscuits so cannot help with a recipe but if you have a craving for something sweet and crunchy and not TOO naughty how about a Pagan Krispbread or a Ryvita with a measured amount of honey or golden syrup on it, or chocolate spread if you like it. Also, this might sound weird but why not change your online name? Seeing "biscuitmad" all the time might make you want them more. I know when people mention chips or suchlike on here I immediately want them!

There is a link in post 1 of this thread to our recipe thread, I'm sure superspeed soup is in there. Or search this thread for the word dynorod cos that's what they call it here, they are very coarse :rotfl: but you can perhaps guess why it's called that! :D
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
