Hi everyone - I'm back again with my tail between my legs. I was doing great right up until august with a 26lb loss but drifted away from classes and this forum and before I knew it I had 17lb of the 26lb back on! :(
I'm now ready to try again so I rejoined SW on 9/1/12 and have managed to lose 5.5 but I know that there is great support in sharing on this forum. Wish me luck!
A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:
Joined SW 13/9/10 - wanted to lose 56lb and lost 26lb! Rejoined on 9/1/12 having gained 17lb of my loss!!! :(

    Morning

I went back to SW this morning after 4 weeks off. 2 weeks the hall was closed and I tried to go to another meeting but the evil consultant refused to weigh me as I had lost my card, the other 2 weeks I was on holiday.

Anyway, I only put on 2lb, which I don't think is at all bad :D

Diet holiday ended yesterday though so back to boring food for me!!

Today I have had the last Greggs from Iceland sausage roll (18 syns) I had in the freezer so its free food and healthy extras for the rest of the day for me.

Have a good day everyone :D

I dont find SW a boring diet - i find i am thoroughly enjoying it. The main thing I have cut is the alcohol but I am finding that I am not really missing it.

Good Luck with getting back on the Diet.

I put a usual SW days food for me through a calorie counting website and I am consuming approx 1400 calories a day. I only get small losses each week but I find that this works for me.

Oh, don't think like that Melgirl, have a look through the SW recipes, they don't have to be boring diet food.

Hi all, still going, weight goes up and down but holiday in 10 weeks and I would like to get to 9st by then. I am at 9st 10lb so if I am good I'll do it. I have started running when I walk the dog and I can feel that my trousers fit better in my legs but my weight is staying the same - annoyingly!!

My reason for posting is that I have a book called takeaway secrets and there is a recipe in there for lamb doner kebab. If you use lamb mince that is less than 16% fat (I have only found this in Tesco so far) then the whole 1lb of Kebab meat is just 10 syns!!

500g lamb mince (less than 16% fat)
    1tsp plain flour
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1/2 tsp dried Italian herbs
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper

Pre-heat over to 180C. Mix all ingredients, add meat and pound until the meat is smooth. Shape into a loaf and cook in the oven. Cook for 1 hours 20 minutes, turning halfway through (I usually !!!!! it all over to remove some of fats/juices). Remove from oven and rest for 10 minutes. Slice.

I serve with salad - the bread and wraps are quite high in syns so bear this in mind. Maybe you could have half a wrap or pitta instead, or some SW chips/wedges. We do not add the peppers as we do not like them - it is just gorgeous. I have a slicer from Argos and so I slice it up. It is a huge hit in this house and so I thought I would share it with you. The packets of mince in Tesco are 400g so you need to adjust the ingredients very slightly and this means it is just 8 syns for the loaf. Next time I am using 2 packets of mince as the kids ate most of the last one I did. It's 2 syns per 100g.
