Buy a new scale, or better still, don't and pay every week to weigh yourself at the local chemist - they're much more accurate and saves you having a sneak peak during the week which is never a good idea!
Thanks MMI am going to have to get a new scale as the nearest chemist with a scale is about 8 miles away :eek:. More determined than ever to make sure my loss was definitely -4.5lb and hope for a STS next week. Please God don't let the new scales weigh me at a stone heavier, I couldn't take it! :rotfl:

Ammonite - hope you find some kind new scales!! i have some Tanita ones but they measure BMI etc...
Med Mum - great idea for the cake.. healthy and yummy!! and it will look so pretty with all the fruits in it too..
Nikki - when i first did SW (10 years ago) i didn't even bother looking at portion sizes, it was the first "diet" i'd ever done and i lost 3 stone in less than 6 months.. now i've done a lot of different diets and i'm more calorie conscious I worry about portion sizes too, and i don't lose weight most weeks!i may just revert back to eating the way i did back then!
So today is a green day
B - two toast HEB lurpak (2)
L - not sure - potato cakes possibly..
T - home made chinese feast - chicken chow mein, chicken curry, rice, homemade wontons (1 each), sesame toasts (3.5 each :eek:) chicken will be the HEb in this
S - crisps (4) satsumas

Can anybody help me, i'm desperate!! I have been doing sw for 6 months and have lost 2 stone but now i'm stuck at that. I have been for 3 months now, i cannot lose anymore no matter how hard i try. I'm doing everything right, filling in a food diary every day (online).
I walk 4 miles most days, and do the odd stint on wii fit and just dance.
so far i have tried switching to just green days instead of ee an also mixing green red and ee but thats not worked. I did put on 5 pound over xmas but lost that again no probs and now i'm back at 13st5 which is the weight i have been stuck at.
I'm at my wits end and really feel like giving up! I did go to class for a while when i first started but then got a new job and couldnt go anymore so joined online, do you think somehow thats my problem?

Well I'm home from my dreaded business trip. Yesterday was a funny old day - we started meetings at 7.30am with the hope we would get finished early and get on the road for the 410mile drive home.
For breakfast at the hotel I had grilled bacon rashers (no fat) & baked beans followed by a kiwi fuit and a pear
Working lunch buffet had no brown sandwiches so had 2 white ones with turkey & cranberry + a satsuma & a banana.
Left office at 2pm for the drive home - got stuck in traffic and didn't get home until 9pm. Didn't stop or break the journey as I just wanted home and by the time I got in I was knackered and couldn't be bothered eating so had a banana and a Sharon fruit and a cup of black coffee and went to bed.
So far today I have had black coffee, muller light, banana & pear.
I feel out of sorts and in a fettle with myself as I haven't managed any exercise this week and I'm sure the scales will be a disaster on Monday despite my best effortsMortgage Aug 22 £280,000

Hi Fannyannie (great name - my Mum used to call me that!). I feel for you as I've been there so many times but well done you for sticking with it as I would have given up long ago!
I guess we all need to see a couple of days of food plan (with absolutely everything written down on it) and then we can see where you might be going wrong or make any suggestions to help.

Hello all.
Got to target nearly 2 years ago & decided I didn't need SW anymore.
Started again on Mon evening class. 1st proper day was tues.
I do green days as don't eat meat.
Ammonite if you can get to a Morrisons they had some digital scales that were cheap.
I have 26lbs to lose to get to target.

when i started SW i used to put all my food through a calorie counter - and it was usually 1200 per day...
now i don't eat (medical condition) i'm nder 800cals......the weight is still coming off very slowly :mad:
fannyannie - post your food plans and we'll all have a look
ammonite - i don't weigh at home, i think i'd be a wreck if i had scales
my intake today
b: diet coke, 330cals drink
l: cup of soup & packet of crisps :T 215 cals
d: may have a calorie drink or soup if i can manage
sn: cups of tea in huge amounts!
