WI yesterday, lost a half lb. Had hoped for more, and know that any loss is better than a gain, but as I get lunch provided and don't know how much oil, etc is used, I suppose I'm lucky to get away with that.
Going to try to post more often (at work, so can't always manage to post), but will try to post what I'm eating in the hope that someone can help/advise where I'm going wrong.
B=magic rice, mullerlight and pear
S=2xsatsumas
L=tuna, cucumber, tomatoes, grated carrot, beetroot
S=hard boiled egg, 2xscanbran (1/2 HEB)
HEA = milk for tea
not sure about dinner yet, but will involve cauli, carrots, onions.
Does that sound ok?
Thanks!0 -

B 2 x wheatabix with skimmed milk HEB and HEA
L Beans on toast 2nd HEB 2 slices whole meal hovis

Thanks

Hi all, just dropping by to catch up on this thread and also to let you know that I have lost 4lb this week (WI every Thursday morning at home - I don't go to a SW class at the mo) and I am really chuffed! This is my 3rd week following SW from the magazines and advice from this thread and I think it really suits me (I am doing EE).
I'm not sure that I get 1/3 SF at every meal but I try my best! I like the idea of averaging 1/3 SF throughout the day - that makes a lot of sense to me.Skint but happy with my lovely family

Going back to our discussion yesterday about superfree and 1/3 etc etc. I asked the question on another forum I'm on as the administrator of the site is a SW consultant. For anyone who's interested (and for those who aren't!!!!) here is her explanation -
As a Consultant, this is my pennies worth regarding SF:
All official EE SW recipes, have 1/3 of SF build in already! That includes, chopped, grated, mashed...ect veg! This was confirmed by SW when one of my members questioned this!
However, if you make up your own, say Spaghetti Bolognese, it's up to you to put in as many SF foods as you can. If you just prefer to have tomatoes, onions, garlic in the sauce, add a large salad and you are covered with your third SF.
SF soup......yes, yes, yes.....made from SF then of course it is considered as your third. Obviously if the soup is made entirely out of SF veggies, then you have 100% SF on you plate!
From your description, you are definately covered with your third SF! When on EE, imagine your plate to be a 3 coloured pie chart
1st third superfree.....orange
2nd third freefood......green
3rd third original........red
If you lay out your veggies that you want to chop up in your meal, it's easier to see how much you actually have. If it's a third, then fine, you don't have to add extra on the side or have a salad!
Hope this will make it a bit clearer!Mediterranean Mum

It's common sense really I suppose. But if, at any time, one of us is struggling with weight loss, we can certainly check that we are eating the 1/3 SF x
I've just had a lovely creamy pasta thing for my lunch - it contained one leek, 2 rashers of bacon (fat removed), about 6 mushrooms, all sliced and fried together. (I would normally have added garlic too, but I forgot!) Then I added about 2 tblsp of quark, stirred and seasoned well and added to cooked pasta. (If I had some parsley I would have added some here.) Was yummy and very good comfort food. Served with 2 tomatoes cut into wedges. Yummy!Skint but happy with my lovely family

MediterraneanMum sorry I missed your comment about flylady. I downloaded the body clutter audiobook from the US website - you can do this from anywhere in the world by the looks of it. You can buy the physical book but I would have had to get it shipped to UK and it worked out a bit expensive. It's good as an audiobook anyway as I can listen on my ipod as I do other things - you could listen to it on the dreadmill maybe?!
Skint but happy with my lovely family
