  • Why is it i'm sat in watching fat programmes when I should be out exercising! With me they actually motivate me to stay in and watch the tv....mmmm, something I don't usually do!

    Had a good time ..... other than the point I actually had to look at the scales :o.

    Sugar Free Jelly Crystals, all varieties, dried, 11.5g sachet 1.5 on all plans.

    i think anything less than half a syn per serving just gets silly, you'd never make up the whole syn anyway to get your full 15 a day! just count it as free. my aromat is syned but it'd be 0.07 of a syn per dash (or some other crazy number) so its barely enough to count.

    shaloo-moo the morrocan lamb was gougous :)to make it more SW friendly i mixed 1 tsp cumin and 1 tsp ground cimmamon 1/2 of chilli flakes and a cimmamon stick into the lamb a tin of chopped tomatoes and a 1 pint of chicken stock. Add a onion,butternut squash (chopped into cubes) leeks and a couple of carrots.I put the whole lot in the slow cooker and let it cook all day.

    with the couscous i make it up with boiling water,some lemen juice and put some chopped tomatoes and corriander yum yum:rotfl:

  • lost 1/2 pound tonight. expected it because of all the exercise. bit annoyed consultant basically told me my degree qualified personal trainer was talking b*llocks about muscle weighing more and no amount of exercise would affect my weight, only eating the SW way would. apparently not loosing is ALL because I'm "hungry" when i exercise and am obv not following plan and snacking on what i shouldn't all of the time!

    hmmm, think i'll go with with the opinion of the qualified sport scientist :rotfl:

    I'm off to a prospective consultant event on sunday, thinking of giving it a go.

    Right - well thats me back in my hotel room.
    For dinner I had :
    Starter - Spicy Tomato soup, ate half of it and tried to avoid the cream swirl & croutons. Said no to the bread basket!! :)
    main - Fillet steak, veg & potatoes. Unfortunatly when the potatoes came they were crushed with a herb butter on top even though I asked for no butter. I ate a wee taste of them & left the rest. Ate all the steak apart from the fat, ate all the cauliflower, mange tout & carrots as they were plain. The swines put a wee few fried mushrooms on my plate which I LOVE - I have to confess to eating 3 of them but leaving about a dozen
    Pudding - Fresh Strawberries (no cream or dressing) + black coffee

    I think I made the best choices I could and apart from the crushed potatoes & fries mushrooms would have been free on EE plan.

    Planning to have Grilled bacon & baked beans for breakfast!

    Oh my :cool: I'd go with him too...

    I'm no expert but I thought (and please correct me if I'm wrong)....1kg of fat weighs the same as 1kg of muscle BUT...the fat is more bulky...so if you had the same mass of each the fat would weigh more!
    Plus....the more lean muscle mass you have the more calories you burn quicker!
    When you use muscles more than usual they can retain water at first...hence why sometimes we see a gain when we up the exercise.....
    and.....all this happens whether you follow the SW plan or not!!!

    :naughty: Think your consultant needs to go for more training!!!! Maybe you could take her with you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Well did everyone see the biggest loser tonight? Feeling rather smug now that I lost the same weight as some of the people on the show tonight and did not have to do last minute training and got to eat lovely food all week.

    The task was tough though and it would have def defeated me.
