That is fab Med. Mum!! I find no matter how much I put on my plate, I always finish it, so started putting less on and finished the plate and wasn't hungry, so put less and less on until I got my portions down to something that resembled normal!

Something amazing happened to me too!

    I lost 4.5lb today at WI.QUOTE]

Well done on the 4.5lbs :T

I need to do this learning curve about portion size too.

Just a wee head's up that the weight watchers bacon (no visible fat) is on a half price offer in Morrisons and that Total 0% has 50p off.

    Today I have eaten:

    B. Porridge with mixed berries and greek Total 0% yoghurt.

    snacks: 2 tangerines, 1 plum

l: quorn mince with mashed parship, mini sweetcorn and mangetout. 1 apple.

D: 2 slices lean ham, 1 small baked potato, salad (lettuce, red pepper, red onion, cabbage, carrot). Rhubarb mullerlight.
  • Excellent day today and I think I'll make a point of making something with baked beans for breakfast (actually sounds vile to me but was really tasty!). My half breakfast kept me full until lunchtime and then I had the other half for my snack this afternoon.

I made the mushroom lasagne again and added courgettes this time to get more veggies in. I can't believe how good it is and don't miss all the cheese on top of a traditional lasagne - even my kids love it! I was going to make a salad to go with the lasagne but it was enough on its own after a bowl of the lentil and barley soup.

I love my Kindle but the thing that annoys me is the screen saver timeout, its too short and you can't alter it. I nipped into the kitchen to make a cuppa, came back and its shut down. I have a pasword on mine so have to keep rentering it each time VERY ANNOYING
I do agree, drives me mad. And the keys I use for my password have almost worn out too! AND I subscribe to The Times and that hasn't turned up for 3 days. Amazon said they were aware of the problem (but hadn't bothered to tell subscribers) and I am supposed to "re-load" them via my computer, like I'm gonna do that at 6 am before work! So I have cancelled with a very grumpy email :D

I rummage about through the regular bacon when it's on special offer to pick out the ones with least fat on. It freezes well, I expect you all know that.

I've been good today, just a crunchie and half a dozen olives as syns, trying to retrain and restrain myself after the easygoing way I treated Xmas :D

Well done all losers and all "hoping to losers" x
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Good to hear about the losses:T Taken across the month, you're doing well mm.

Like you all, I'm always amazed what I can eat with SW.

I'm drifting in and out of the plan a bit this week due to various engagements but I reckon the majority of my meals will be fine.

    Today's EE:

B: NAS squash, HEB toast, mushrooms, fried egg, HEA milk for teas
L: off plan soup and a roll
D: beef stir fry with masses of SF veg and noodles
