Well done losers....:D welcome newcomers... and re-joiners..
I saw some of these flavoured broad beans in M&S yesterday, nearly picked up a packet until i saw the word "fried" on the front.. are they hard like nuts or soft?
mmmmmmHelp please;
I am not starting my first class until Tuesday, so missing all the basic advice.
I would like the make lentil soup for later on today. I use onions, garlic, carrots, swede, tinned tomatoes, tomato puree and red dried lentils plus marigold stock granules. I don't know how to count the lentils or the stock. Can anyone tell me please?
Thanks
Hello Vixie! As far as I know all pulses (and all rice for someone who asked, sorry didn't note name) are free. Obviously it then depends if you add oil, milk, cream etc etc! Oh and I think some of the ready cooked rice is synned because it has oil in it.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Weightin day today - Week 1 - lost 1.8 kgs (3.96 lbs in proper money!) Very pleased as I am in this for the long haul and not a quick fix.
Decided on a weigh in day (Sunday is a great one) to have all 15 of my syns in one day!
B - 2 meat free sausages, scrambled egg, beans, mushrooms, lean bacon
L - made a huge pot of spiced veg soup - enough for 4 portions during the week
T - Spicy chicken drumsticks, SW chips, h/m coleslaw with pud Creamy Fruit whip (recipes on website)
The chicken was marinated in soy sauce and was a bit too salty for my liking but ate it anywat! -dh never tasted it first and put loads of salt on his so couldnt eat it! Next time will just do plain chicken. The h/m coleslaw was lovely and so was the Fruit pud
Havnt had all my milk so will have Weetabix for supper
So 3 syns for breakies, 1 syn for tea, 2 syns for pud making only 6 syns - bring on my nightly 2 Ferraro Rocher at 5 syns and thats only 11 and I am still to have supper!
Made up my weeks menu and shopped on-line with Asda as it makes it much less likely for me to buy treats if I do it on-line....Kondo'ed 76 items from wardrobe, 4 carrier bags of books0 -
Well that's me just about completed my 7th day on the plan and I'm nervous about tomorrow's weigh in. I have followed Extra Easy all week and have eaten so much. I have only had syns on 2 days as I have been full and not really wanting anything else. I haven't had chocolate all week as chocolate is my weak spot and once I have 1 piece I can't stop - I am like sesame street's cookie monster just shovelling it in. I will start to introduce small pieces of choc at some point over the next few weeks but need to go cold turkey for a while to break the habit first.
Today I have had:
B - pear, banana & muller light
S - hard boiled eggs
L - bacon, tomatoes,green beans, pear, peach
S - SW veg pakoras (tatties, green beans, red onion, carrots, beaten egg, curry powder) & homemade dip (FF natural yoghurt, garlic & onions)
D - gammon steak (no fat), tatties, carrots, green beans, peppers
Drinks - black coffee, sugar free squash, diet cokeMortgage Aug 22 £280,000
Current mortgage £28,0000 -
Thanks Blackberry-Rum!
I am really loving dal at the moment so I am hoping to incorporate it into my food plans
plus they are cheap and last ages!! There are so many types of lentils out there and i am determined to try them all!
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

HTH!
Didn't someone else work them out to be free?It could well be the cause. I don't want to ruin anyone's meal either, but as a special needs teacher I seem to spend a big part of my day dealing with toileting issues :rotfl:. Try drinking a lot more fluids and as bizzare as it might sound try having your knees higher than your hips when you sit on the toilet. A small plastic stools of the kind children use to stand at a wash basin is ideal.
I work in Reception class so know where you're coming from, thanks for the 'stools' made me laugh :rotfl:. Will just say the OJ worked :j

THEY FIT ME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I better aim for a size 12!
WTG great feeling isn't it :T:T:T
I love my Kindle but the thing that annoys me is the screen saver timeout, its too short and you can't alter it. I nipped into the kitchen to make a cuppa, came back and its shut down. I have a pasword on mine so have to keep rentering it each time VERY ANNOYING :mad:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Oh dear that's not good - especially as someone else said they're free! So for someone that has Mullerlite or Activia fruit yoghurt in the house can you please tell me what the numbers are so that I can try to compare with similar here to get a free one.
As it happens I only had 2 other syns yesterday so 3 for the yoghurt was ok.
Anyway, thanks for all the good wishes, 1lb loss this week which is fine I suppose and after the couple of up and down weeks makes my total loss for the month 9.5lb.Mediterranean Mum

Something amazing has happened this morning -- I couldn't finish my breakfast!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I made this great frittata from the left over mexican bake and probably because it has baked beans and sweet potato in it, it was just so filling. I've only eaten half of it and I actually listened to my stomach telling me it was full. Now in the past I would have scoffed the whole bloody thing down regardless of how I felt and would have walked around feeling bloated for the rest of the day!Mediterranean Mum
