Right it's made - and it tastes yummy!!

    420g ready-cooked and mashed chickpeas
    1 pot 0% plain yoghurt
    2 tspns techina (sesame paste)
seasoning - salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic & herb seasoning, cumin

mix everything together and enjoy on w/m bread, ryvitas or with vegetable sticks.

I'm not sure how many syns are in the techina - I think 2 so unless I sit and eat the whole tub (which I couldn't possibly do) I don't think there is enough to count in a regular serving - I usually have it on my bread for my afternoon snack.

thanks very much I'm going to be trying this too as I love hummous!! :D
I'm Learning new things everyday thanks to my beautiful, autistic boy.

2012 - 3 boys one of which is a new baby, time to get this baby weight off and get back to myself! slimming world here I come!

Does anyone have a recipe for a dip - I have made the vegetable pakoras from the SW website and they are gorgeous but v hot and I could do with a cooling dip to help them.
If I wasn't doing SW I would go for onion & garlic dip or sour cream & chive dip... so something along these lines but syn free would be fab! lol

Didn't post yesterday as didn't like what I saw on the scales :o but am fessing up today GAINED 1.5lb . I did have a bad day Friday but the rest of the week was on track. The only thing I can think of [other than Friday] is toilet trouble [sorry if you're eating :o] I was & still am very bloated and haven't 'been' since Friday. Its the same every weekend, regular as clockwork Mon-Fri then nothing Sat-Sun. Often have to resort to laxatives as I'm so uncomfortable. Have run out so resorted to glass of OJ which usually works a treat [feeling rumblings at mo :p] but is synful. Had a better day food wise yesterday with plenty of fruit & superfree salady bits so all in all hope the gain is just due to 'blockage' and will drop off quickly.

Sorry to lower the tone, thats usually Dizzy's job :D

Speaking of Dizzy she is in my thoughts quite a bit. I hope she can 'feel' our empathy, she must be having a really hard time not to have posted for so long. Thinking of you Dizzy x x x x x x x
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Thank you. I am taking things like sliced peppers, carrot and mangetout to work and could do with a dip. I am not sure if I have the dried mint as I tend to use mint when its growing the garden. Might try putting something else in though as I have lots of herbs and spices.

    Help please;

I am not starting my first class until Tuesday, so missing all the basic advice.

I would like the make lentil soup for later on today. I use onions, garlic, carrots, swede, tinned tomatoes, tomato puree and red dried lentils plus marigold stock granules. I don't know how to count the lentils or the stock. Can anyone tell me please?

    Thanks

It could well be the cause. I don't want to ruin anyone's meal either, but as a special needs teacher I seem to spend a big part of my day dealing with toileting issues :rotfl:. Try drinking a lot more fluids and as bizzare as it might sound try having your knees higher than your hips when you sit on the toilet. A small plastic stools of the kind children use to stand at a wash basin is ideal.
