That is fab Med. Mum!! I find no matter how much I put on my plate, I always finish it, so started putting less on and finished the plate and wasn't hungry, so put less and less on until I got my portions down to something that resembled normal!

Something amazing happened to me too!

I lost 4.5lb today at WI. Had moaned all weekend how the scales showed a +2lb and I even kicked this scales this morning to see if they were lying..they weren't! Never had 2 big losses on Slimming World like that 4lb last week, 4.5lb this week. Expecting a STS at best next week as I am away with work and find red/green hard to follow - definitely inspired me though! All this walking I'm doing with a friend must have finally caught up with me :D Note to self: DO NOT SNEAKY PEEK AT SCALES!

    hi all

you are all doing so well with scale - and non scale victory's :T

MM with your yoghurt i'd have it free - 39cals per 100g is low (on a par with my ww ones which are free). if your not loosing weight i'd then syn them. you only have 1 a day yes? if so i'd defo have them for free....less than 60cals :o (mullerlites are 90cals and they are free too)

i'm doing ok here......still just on fluids, WI today - i've paid for a countdown so i'll still go as its helpful to know my weight....
i've figured i'm having under 1000cals at the moment as i'm managing 2 drinks per day, a ww yoghurt in the morning, and hot chocolate before bed. copious amounts of tea during the day - but i am hungry and peeing loads :( reading all your menu's is making me salivate :rotfl:

    good day eveyone

Well done MM, at the start of the week I was troughing away because I could as it was "free", but by the weekend I was actually leaving tatties on my plate which is unheard of for me. I think it's because you're allowed as much as you like of certain things, your mind doesn't have to say "eat that, it's pointed".

And congrats ammonite that's a fantastic loss. I have first weigh in in a few hours and am cr*pping myself!

Wow great loss and two weeks running Ammonite - brilliant. If you're going away just to EE it's so much easier but just remember that you have to reduce the extras but you can eat meat and pasta so it balances itself out.

I've been thinking about you Saidan - are you at least feeling any better for being on fluids only? Bet you'll have a lovely loss this week which is some compensation at least - well done for sticking with it.

I've started eating off a side plate, if i fill that i find thats the amount i should be eating for my height/size and because i see a "full" plate i don't feel deprived, i feel full for hours afterwards. i was eating much more off bigger plates and if i put these potions on a dinner plate it seemed empty and made me feel i was completely doing without and starving myself so i was ravenous half an hour after because my brain thought i just hadn't eaten.

I hope you feel better soon saidan!

    Hi Guys,

I'm still certain the scales are lying but hey I'll take it :D:D No, I don't go to class but meet with friends weekly and we all confess our losses/gains so I might be SOW there :D haha!

Great idea about Extra Easy! I don't usually do that as I can't eat all the veg! Mind you, would be better to attempt EE (without the veg) than just eat rubbish for a few days. Thanks for the suggestion :D

Poor Saidan :( You will be off it soon!

    Hope everyone's WI's went well!

  • Well done on the weight loss everyone.

First weigh in tonight and will have to pay because I am well over target. Hoping for a 2 pound loss. Will report back later.

I really hope that by having to pay this will keep me on track. I am still a child at heart. If someone is 'disappointed' in me it makes me determined to please them or prove them wrong.

For lunch I had a syn free burger from butcher with no bap with a huge salad. In all honest i did not miss the bap.
