I had first WI tonight and have lost 2lb:T i'd of liked it to me more as I've stuck to the plan but 2lb is a good start. Will be slower for me as I have to syn things like yoghurt/cheese as I can't get low fat/fat free vegan versions.

The men who joined last week all lost loads 6lb lowest and one man lost 11lb:eek::T how good was that, he looked so pleased.

It's going to be an effort to get to club - was so cold and I really had to drag myself there - miles walk each way and I've got a cold.

Wish there was not such a gap between arrival - weigh in and body image - I will have to get more sociable and start having a chat with more people.

Brought the new soup book tonight - looks good - easy to 'veganise' a lot of it!

Last post! Do those who have got a Wii find them good for weight loss/toning?

Asking as parents asked if there is anything I'd like for my birthday next month and I've been wondering if I'd use one.

Do you need loads of space? I'd have to use mine in my bedroom as lounge tv always in use but I've not a lot of floor space. I'd like the fitness one and the zumba but worried it's a lot to spend if I don't use it much as they are around £100.

Visions of me tripping over the guinea pig and hamster cages trying to zumba in my room:rotfl:

  • Day 4
B - Dorest cranberry porridge (HB) (use skim milk all day for HA)
    L - Tuna pasta salad
T - Chicken & toms (recipe on website) -very nice - whole family liked it! served with veg and boiled pots
    Snacks - Muller yog, banana
Syns - 2 for mayo in tuna, 5 for 2 x Ferraro Rocher
Excercise - 15 minute walk during my lunch hour at work

Quite happy with things at the moment - planning meals in advance and eating the same as the family really helps.

Having my Friday wine tonight..... (being good tomorrow...)

Have spent all evening doing my food shop and have spent ages on the sw site looking at the healthy extras. Have ordered carrots/peppers/spring onions (so I can take crudities to work next week). Have also ordered chocolate weetabix (2 pieces plus 2 syns = HEB), laughing cow extra light, some of those kellogs hi fibre bars and ryvita. Time to shake things up and try new things !

Meal plan not complete but too tired to finish now. Have an idea of what I am having tomorrow and hoping to keep syns under 10 !

  • Tell you what I had last night for my munchie time - a cherry muller light with a handful of frozen morello cherries shoved into it, then back into the freezer for ten minutes .... mmm it was the best version of Fast Ice Cream ever although I am a big fan of Banana & Custard with frozen raspberries.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • well done to all you losers this week - if any of you think it's not enough try the bags of sugar trick and put the amount lost into a rucksack and stick it on your back - then walk upstairs with it on - it's great for momentum!

I had another good day yesterday but if went to pot a bit in the evening. We went to the cinema (A Week with Marilyn - definitely recommended), didn't eat before we went, then couldn't be bothered cooking what I'd planned when we got home so I made noodles (boiled) with peas and sweetcorn with some teriyaki sauce (no idea how many syns) but then I was still hungry and had some ryvitas and humous (not the homemade variety!)

Now I have a challenge as we're going away overnight tonight for one night - staying with some relatives as we have an event tomorrow. Tonight's meal with the relations should be doable and I'll probably take a big salad so that I can fill up on that. Tomorrow is going to be hard as we're spending all day at this event in a hotel - with two sit-down meals. I'm hoping that there will be lots of salads (there is usually a salad bar of some type) and I'm hoping that as I'm in front of tons of people I'll keep to my old principle of watching what others are eating (especially the big people!!!) and then putting the right food on my plate and then feeling virtuous!! I hate eating in front of other people as I'm always sure that people are watching me and thinking OMG look what that humungous woman is eating!!!!! I know, cos I think it about others!!!!!

Have a great weekend everyone and I'll be back on Sunday as it's the start of the working week here. Now off to menu plan for next week and then off to the supermarket.

That's a great idea. You'll be £5 a week better off anyway. I treated myself to a lovely trollbead and I love it!

I like the idea of watching big people mm, Hopefully there'll be some lean meat and plenty of salads over the weekend. Do your best and have a plan ready for Sunday.

We're off to the cinema too this evening (The Iron Lady) so need to tink whether to eat before or after.
  • Morning all, well done Rachelww on getting to target! Fab! I hope that will be me one day.

So tired today - it's been a long draining week. Going to have some wine tonight to treat myself. I have cut down an awful lot on alcohol and I think this has helped a lot with my weight loss (as well as preventing late night munchies!) I've also been listening to a flylady audiobook called "body clutter". I have been subscribed to flylady for quite some time and do my best to follow her, so I thought I would treat myself and buy the audiobook. I am only up to chapter 5 but I think it's very good, it is really helping me to think about my issues around food and the reasons why I sabotage myself. Hope this helps someone xx

B: LF yoghurt and chopped apple
L: bruschetta (sp?) with grated cheese on top
    D: Omelette, salad and wedges
    Sn: Wine, fruit
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

    Hypnotherapy rocks :j
