  • Ok Mediterranean Mum, thanks for your help. The mag wasn't very clear that it was a red day recipe, it says free on EE and free on a red day. Anyway, still getting my head around everything!

WI this morning and lost another 2lb so that's 3lb in total. I'm on my way! It's a long road but I'll get there!

Today's EE plan is as follows:
B: Tea, apple (not feeling well this morning)
L: Couscous with chopped up roast chinese pork (lo from last night's tea) and big salad, yoghurt and sliced banana
D: One pan roast chicken (SW mag jan/feb p66), salad
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

    Hypnotherapy rocks :j

Thank you for checking, it was ginger ale, didn't think they'd be on there! Will have to wait for my password. I have some sugar free ones (diet cola and lemonade) but the cola is awful and haven't braved opening the lemonade yet lol.

Ginger ale is the same: 2 syns for 250 mls. Hope you find a syn free one to suit.

Does anyone else have a problem with the website. I find that most of the time when I try to log in, my password ends up in the box for username rather than where it should be. It doesn't matter how careful I am with the cursor. I find it so irritating!! Is it just me?

WI this morning and I gained 1 lb. I'm pleased as it's put me back into my target range and I really think I might look too skinny if I went any lower. I'm going to have a few treats again this week to try and work out how much relaxation will let me STS.

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS squash, HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk plus teas
L: JP with small portion of SW chicken curry
D: roast chicken, SW roasties, cabbage, cauli, carrots and gravy
Syns: gravy, small piece of cake and maybe cheese later

I just read on the website that maintenance of weightloss is one of the most under-recognised acheivements:D That made me feel really good, and to think I dared to criticise the website:o

Well, my first WI last night, and I lost 2.5lbs. I was pleased, until my sister weighed and had lost 5lbs!! I know we are all different, and I have probably eaten more than her .......... onwards and upwards.
I can;t post my daily eating, as I never know what food is going to be available as work provide lunch for us. (there is always the option of salads, but the mains change daily)
    Today I have eaten:
weetabix x 2, water, muller light and pear (HEB)
    Rice, veg curry, salad
    Veg soup, apple, satsuma
then tonight I have pork casserole with lots of veggies.
    Milk for tea (HEA)
  • The one pan roast chicken I mentioned before is in the oven now and it smells delish!!
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

day 2 of my sw week and once again, I have allowed myself too many syns. The old adage of I've started.... so I'll [STRIKE]finish[/STRIKE] continue....

I wouldn't be surprised if I have had a week's syns (70) today  and similar or more yesterday :(

My skirt is tight, I feel fat and self conscious YET I still continue daily to sabotage and have syns over and above what I am allowed.

Grump over! Tomorrow is a new day and I'm meal planning so I am hopeful/determined to have some good days for a change and at least a chance of a stay the same or a small loss at class next week. I must plan my syns and stop eating chocolate syns like they are going out of fashion!

I will make sure I post my menus so you can all keep an eye on me!

I have asked a question on shopping but perhaps you can help more, my neighbour with no computer has started slimming world , she has to have dairy free and gluten free. She has been having soya yogs from asda but her SW lady told her she could not have them but offerd no alternative. Can anyone help, i had thought about suggesting she make her own if it is do-able. Thank you.

Flat Eric I sympathise with you so much....I'm always teetering on the tight rope of temptation....I am an absolute chocaholic and sometimes feel like that is all I can think about :o

I have started to have the Kelloggs fibre plus bars which really do hit the chocolate spot (HEB or 6 syns) but when it comes to that time of the month (sadly I get PMT 3 weeks out of 4) I really, really struggle!

I only started Last week and my first week's will power was really bad, this week I've managed a few good days but yesterday forgot about a birthday party I was going to (so I didn't plan - my down fall)! Cadbury's flake chocolate cake tastes soooo good! :o:o

If only these things were easy.....Good luck and tomorrow is another day....and your still here and not given up - :A
