225g dried chickpeas (I used a 400g tin tho, and the mixture is quite wet but useable! I assume it's less wet if you use the dried ones).
1 onion, finely chopped (I used a shallot, can't do onions)
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 eggs
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 red chilli, deseeded, chopped
1 tbsp chopped coriander
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1/4 tsp baking powder
Boil the chickpeas (if using dried) for 45min and drain. Put in a processor with onion, garlic, eggs, cumin, ground coriander, chilli and herbs. Blend to smooth puree. Add baking powder and season, stir well. Chill for 1hr/overnight
Heat oven to 220/gas 7 and spray baking sheet with frylight. Take small pieces of puree and form into small balls with your hand and flatten them out slightly, arrange on the sheet. Cook in over for 12-15 min
As I said, my mix ended up quite wet, do I just put spoonfuls of mix on the tray :rotfl: recipe doesn't actually say how many pieces you can expect to make, so as big as you like I guess!
They're just cooking now, will report back
FAB ! thank you :j0 -

You need to be eating lots more! Definitely eat breakfast, even if you just grab a couple of pieces of fruit. For lunch you need to be eating a proper meal of some kind.
I don't know how much weight you have to lose but your body needs to have a balanced diet and enough food to fuel it. If you starve it, it will hang on to what it's got and you'll not lose. The beauty of SW is that you can have lots of food - vegetables, protein and carbs - you just need to make the right choices.Mediterranean Mum

i keep a cereal bar in my handbag so if i need to run out anywhere or i'm out and don't have time to stop for food i still have something.
unfortunately the one i use is 9 syns a go but i faint really easily if i don't keep my blood sugar up so i chose one that had sugar in so i can get that in me asap if i need to and oats to sustain me until i can get to proper food.0 -
I know what you mean Mediteranean Mum, I stopped smoking 5 years ago today and that was when I discovered food  Slimming World is great though
my menu today was
B Porridge skimmed milk HEA HEB
L 3 Chicken thighs without skin and cottage cheese (sounds orrible but was delicious) mullerlight, didn't get chance to eat any fruit was just too busy at work and then bloomin left it there !!!
D mushrooms, 4 eggs scrambled with small tin of spaghetti hoops
Not eaten enough today I don't think and I know just why. I didn't plan my days menu it was all really off the cuff. Will and must try better tomorrow.
Syns 2 x Dark rum and diet coke and delicious too, early night for me as was in work at 7.30 today and am really feeling it now so night all and good luck

thats more than i eat most days - BUT my weight loss is really slow. 1/2 - 1lb a week usually.
lots of people say to eat more.
try to have some more protein at lunchtime - and even just a banana in the mornings or use your heb Hifi bar.
hth
i am sitting here thinking what can i eat?
don't really need anything but i always feel hngriest this time of night.
might make a cup of tea
