Magic rice is very simple
I use leftover cooked plain rice from night before - mix with yoghurt/fat free fromage frais etc. and frozen fruit (cherries my fav) and leave overnight in the fridge
I also do the same with couscous but normally cook the couscous specially - pour out portion dried couscous - pour over boiling water - leave for bout 5 mins - then mix with yog & fruit & leave overnight in the fridge!

Thank you! I cook rice in the microwave, so will cook some specially to save for breakfast tomorrow!0 -

lol!:D thank you so much....but as we both have very high final targets, i doubt it, mum will prob b happy to settle around the 15 stone mark, and mine target is 11.12 (still leave me overweight:o) but what the hell!! i set it, and i wont b changing it, unless i want to,
we really enjoy walking cause we are in Ireland, and the countryside at that, so we def.dont have the heat and humidity problem!:D
we are always seeing different people, and things going on, so it keeps us interested.
good luck with your journey, and never forget the super first week you had:A0 -

I've never been to Ireland but I come from Scotland and have spent a lot of time in the north of Scotland so know what you mean about the beautiful countryside. Today while talking to my sister in Scotland I was walking on the dreadmill here and it was just as if we were walking together - cool!Mediterranean Mum

I had around 600ml of sodastream yesterday, which is 90.6 calories, 21g carb... no other values.

Hello - can you share the receipe for the falafel - I have been wanting to make a sw version for weeks because there is a falafel wrap in m&$ that I like but its lot of syns
It's from the world of flavour book,
225g dried chickpeas (I used a 400g tin tho, and the mixture is quite wet but useable! I assume it's less wet if you use the dried ones).
1 onion, finely chopped (I used a shallot, can't do onions)
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 eggs
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 red chilli, deseeded, chopped
1 tbsp chopped coriander
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1/4 tsp baking powder
Boil the chickpeas (if using dried) for 45min and drain. Put in a processor with onion, garlic, eggs, cumin, ground coriander, chilli and herbs. Blend to smooth puree. Add baking powder and season, stir well. Chill for 1hr/overnight
Heat oven to 220/gas 7 and spray baking sheet with frylight. Take small pieces of puree and form into small balls with your hand and flatten them out slightly, arrange on the sheet. Cook in over for 12-15 min
As I said, my mix ended up quite wet, do I just put spoonfuls of mix on the tray :rotfl: recipe doesn't actually say how many pieces you can expect to make, so as big as you like I guess!
They're just cooking now, will report back"Empires are not brought down by outside forces, they are destroyed by weaknesses from within."0 -

Hi there, I didn't know exactly what you had so I put in lemonade. That's 2 syns for 250 ml so I suppose you had about 6 syns worth. Interestingly they do a syn free sugar free one too so if you like sodastream it might be worth gettting some of that. HTH
This is my first day completely syn free (so far) since my flexi weekend. It's WI tomorrow and while I expect to have gained (was 4lbs under so have plenty of leeway) I don't want to lose track.
EE plan:
B: NAS squash, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried egg, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: open tuna sandwich with pickled shallots and pickled cabbagebeef stir fry with noodles
