I've brougth some of that new sweetner to try as it's syn free.
Called Truvia - made from stevia leaf. I had been using Agarve nectar on my weetabix as I don't use the sweetners like aspartame. This ones plant based but not approved yet by food standards - been massive in America and I can't see it causing problems.
I will try it on cereal as I'm sure my agarve syrup is about 2 syns per spoonful. I'll only need 1 sachet a day as I don't use sweetner in other dishes unless I'm baking which is rare as I try to avoid cakes/biscuits now, unless making them for animal rescue fundraising events.
Has anyone else tried this Truvia?Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.
